great experience. all waiters and waitresses were friendly and fast. I ate the carnitas (spicy) version. the best I've ever had. the restaurant was super clean and smelled fresh. The only negative was hard parking with trailer. nothing to do with the restaurant.
Not a fan of the salsa and guacamole at this location—either it’s just hot, bland tomatoes with no veggies or it’s watery and flavorless. Definitely not worth it. The El Toro on Neil Street is way better! Always fresh, hot food with great flavor and excellent service. Highly recommend that location instead.
El Toro does a terrific job with its dishes! I had thr combo fajitas and they are yummy with the rice, beans, and sides. Margaritas add a nice touch. Service is inviting and efficient. Chips and salsa are freshly made and crispy.
Fun place for tasty Mexican food...vast menu with some very creative dishes!
I had catering from El Toro. I called on Friday for catering for Sunday, so about 2 days notice. I think I spoke with a women who specifically handles the catering. She was very helpful. Easy to work with. Made the process very simple. I then called Saturday to change the number of ppl, no problem. When I picked up my food, everything was ready and hot! They even offered to bring out to my car. Food was delicious! The people at my party complimented how good everything was! Great experience!
Ok. Convenient. Pretty standard south of the border fare.
Ate lunch today, the food had no seasoning or taste to it. The beans were like water. So disappointed in our lunch meal.
Nice Mexican restaurant with great food! I had the Baja Chicken and liked it very much. It's a delicious combination of ingredients. Good portions, fresh chips and just right salsa. The salt level is a little low, but that's everywhere now days; there's a shaker on the table. I would love to experience better flatware as well, but the food was good enough I can live with it. 😊

The service was great, atmosphere was nice. We only had an appetizer (Nachos El Carbon). Very large portion but just really didn't have any seasoning. The salsa was okay. The margaritas were good but small.

Restaurantji Recommends
The quesabirria tacos i got was soggy. Not at all what i expected. The meat wasnt really seasoned. The consume was like water it as well was tasteless. I would recommend La Mixteca for birria tacos. Also the service didnt make up for that dish either. HOWEVER my girlfriend enjoyed her dish which was a Acupollo.

Food was ok I have been to another el toro on springfield wasn't impressed but decided to try this one.
Carne asada was very strange looking and beans needed salt... sasla was ok... shrimp wasn't fishy that is a plus chicken was dry..
I did just move from cali but few other places here in town aren't to bad.
I do believe tad over priced.
For area but what isn't nowadays..
Sadly won't be back
