Pretty good food though quite greasy. Great variety and value in lunch specials.

We prefer takeout from EVO any day rather than the P place. The EVO dishes change every day?!!! EvO just tastes better and is a really good value for the lunch special plates. The staff are as friendly as expected, generous on serving sizes, and fast.

Parking: Busy section of campus so be prepared to walk.

It's fine. It's decent Asian food. Champaign has better Asian elsewhere. Also, most of the menu was written in a language that I cannot read. This severely limited my options, since I could not even attempt to order those dishes.

EVO Cafe is a popular choice for affordable and delicious Chinese food on campus. They offer some of the cheapest meals around, especially during their weekday lunch specials ($8-$10) from 11 AM to 3 PM. Their menu features a variety of classic dishes and Sichuan specialties, all made with fresh ingredients. It's a casual spot with friendly service, making it a great option for a quick and satisfying meal.

Came here two years ago, and the difference of service from then is night and day. Genuinely appreciate that EVO has done an exceptional job working on the customer experience. This place is an easy choice if you are craving Chinese food, or just hungry.

The quality of the food even at take out was pretty good. The crawfish per sis was fresh and tasty, properly seasoned and well cooked. The sweet and sour fish fillet a tad sweet and missing some spicy element but light batter and well fried. The beef noodle soup had tasty soup but the noodle was not. Fresh shanghai bok choy did help. The Napa cabbage in soup was mostly pork and preserved egg mixed in and not enough soup ?The jelly dessert 冰粉 is amazing. Brown sugar syrup on bottom with clear jelly mixed in with some golden raisins and haw chips. The sticky mochi dessert was lackluster .Great service and a goto for a few chosen dishes.
