We came down to U of I for my daughter’s bday. We love eating breakfast as a family, but our time was tight to start driving back home. We took a chance on this restaurant/market setting and we were pleasantly pleased. Getting our bearings and understanding the layout and process to order was a little confusing, but it added to our happy experience. There was no mad chaos like other breakfast places. It was nice to have live musician, David Howie, playing soft cover titles....
I often go for breakfast with my young daughters , they have good fresh farm to table food, I also enjoy the cafe's hibiscus tea.

I'm new to the area and heard they have good biscuits and gravy. The restaurant is at one end of The Harvest Market. I ordered at the counter and they brought the food to my table. In addition to biscuits and gravy, I had a bowl of fresh fruit.
The biscuits and gravy were excellent. Very meaty and just the right amount of red pepper to bring it up a notch. The fruit was also good with grapes, cantaloupe and watermelon.
