We can’t say enough good things about Eric and his team! My husband and I have been loyal fans since our late-night runs to the truck downtown back in 2019. Years later, the food is still fantastic, and the service is consistently quick and friendly. It’s been a staple in our relationship and is truly a wonderful place to eat. Highly recommend!

Fernando’s is officially one of my favorite Mexican cuisine restaurants in the C-U area. The employees are very welcoming and friendly. The menu is simple and small, but it works in their favor, as the food is excellent quality, and a big menu can be overwhelming. I had the Mexican style tacos with ground beef. It only took around 5 minutes to get my food. It was hot, seasoned to perfection, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. I also enjoyed the rice and beans, and the verde sauce. The 3 tacos, rice and beans, and a drink cost me $19, which to me is a mostly reasonable price. Portions were reasonable as well. I was able to eat all of the food, and it was just enough to satisfy my hunger without it being too much. I recommend Fernando’s, and will be a frequent customer.

Food was phenomenal. Chorizo torta was very good, steak and pastor tacos were great, very flavorful, salsas were delicious and spicy. Food was hot when I picked it up and when I sat down and ate it at home.

By far the best tacos in town, by a LARGE margin. Mexico, Southwest & Chicago friends, I think you'd find this to be acceptable.
Ps. The Salsa verde is incredible, I basically drink it.
Highly recommend. Cheers.

Very rude customer service. Tacos are not worth the terrible service. They will stare at you coming in and not speak and have an attitude while taking your order. Purposely messed up my order and the name on my order to be funny. The guy/owner that takes order had an idgaf attitude when you tell them nicely that it’s not correct. I worked in food service and always treated food workers nicely, and with respect, but this attitude and rudeness was for no reason.
