After trying multiple tacos trucks in town, we decided to go with Fernando’s food truck for our ~80 person wedding reception. Confirmed the reception details via call and text 4 months before the event, with another check in a week before. However, they did not show up nor reach out: NO CALLED, NO SHOWED. After us calling them multiple times and texting, they eventually responded that they had a family emergency. Though I understand these things can happen, would have really appreciated a heads up. Luckily the venue manager was able to call and get Juanito’s Tacos to come save the day. Within an hour, Juanito’s Tacos arrived was serving up delicious food. Wish we would have found Juanito’s to begin with.

Tried the torta al pastor and it was pretty solid—definitely worth checking out. Also, try their green salsa—it adds a nice kick.

Someone else bought me dinner so I didn't have a choice but to try this place. I was hoping it would be surprisingly good. But it wasn't. Basic at best. And the ellote was pure trash. I will stick to the other taco trucks in town.

The realest. I grew up on old school taco trucks coming across the border in the 80s and 90s. Fernandos is the real deal and the only place I go to. I’ve tried all the other folks and this is the one I return to weekly.

These are the best tacos I’ve tried in the US. The al pastor tacos are my favorite! And the burritos are great too. I would highly recommend Fernandos and the food truck location in Campus Town is great.

Twice now the chicken in my burrito was pink and chewy. Only happened twice out of maybe twenty visits. But happens enough that I'm gonna stop eating there.

Always genuinely amazing food. Tortas are the best I've ever had. I think they pan fry the bread with cheese to get this really crispy, savory cheese layer on it. It's so good. Employees are always super nice and efficient too. Best prices in town as well. 11/10 I've brought every friend who's visited me to this truck.

I was in the middle of ordering food when they interrupted me to address another customer. I was there first. I left immediately after.

I went there last weekend after a night out to go get an elote. It was $3. However, I checked my back account days later and saw that they charged me $6. It wasn’t a big deal, only 3 dollar difference. I left it at that & did not do or say anything at the moment. I went back tonight after a night out to get an elote. I paid the 3 dollars like usual. Since I was there I decided to give the worker a heads up that last time they had charged me more. I did it as a heads up to be more cautious with other clients, I was smiling & relaxed as I said this. The employees demeanor changed & instantly was aggressive, saying in Spanish “honey, your money is leftovers to me. I don’t need your money. Are you sure it was me? It doesn’t matter because I don’t need your money. Here’s your money back. Take your money, I don’t need this money.” While doing this he was aggressively laughing & kept talking over me & getting louder. He kept on trying to shove the money back at me while I repeated “no no no, that isnt what I wanted. I wanted to just give you guys a heads up” He finally gave up trying to shove the money in my hand & opted to put it in the elote bag & shoved it in my hand as he closed the little door in face as I kept saying “I just wanted to give you a heads up.” All the kitchen guys were behind him as he closed the door in my face while I was still speaking.
