We were hotel guests. I have stayed here many times over the years. We tried to order a beer from the restaurant, which is practically at the lobby, at 4:55PM after a very long drive and was told the bar opens at 5PM. So while waiting for 5PM to come around, I opened a bag of nuts while we waited and instead of asking if we wanted the beer, the person said that we couldn’t eat here. I understand that outside food was not allowed and we were going to order food along with the beer but the person made it sound like we were “sneaking” food in. The area demarcation between the “restaurant” and the hotel is not very clear so I asked the person to tell us the exact demarcation and we moved out. We did not order food, drink or anything else. We will be eating and drinking else where considering the service and attitude. Just avoid the excuse of a bar - there are much better spots around town.

It’s basically a continental breakfast that you would get for free at a Hampton Inn, only this was about $18.50, I think- which is a scam, in my opinion. Three hot food items- eggs, bacon, and potatoes. All were good, no issues there, just not for the price. There is a little diner across the road to the East of the hotel that’s much cheaper.

Had planned on going elsewhere but when we saw the offerings we were enticed and it saved us an extra trip out of the hotel.

Very disappointing. It has changed a lot since we were last there. Prices went up by 25% and there is far less to choose from. No pastries or muffins of any kind, no sausage gravy, no toppings for waffles, etc. Service has slow and some of the food arrived cold and the food was mediocre at best.
