We went here to celebrate our decision to move to the Champaign-Urbana area. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the moment we walked in the door, our waiter was fun and knowledgeable, and the food was amazing. We look forward to coming back.

Overall it was a nice restaurant. The food quality wasn't great, had good flavor but the cut of meat was very fatty and had a lot of gristle . I feel like I overpaid for the quality that I received. I may or may not be back. I do a lot of travel, and this place is on the low end of upper scale restaurants! They definitely could do better for what the cost is. They want to be classy but they aren't there yet.

A higher end dining experience in the C/U area. Service was very good, food was "fancier" and the price reflected that. Had the seafood pasta that could have used a little more seafood / wife had 2 apps: crab cake & scallops which she enjoyed. Enjoyed our meal and was a nice place but probably not on my return list due to pricing.
The atmosphere and services was great. We enjoyed the Res Wine BBQ Chicken and Fish n Chips. Steak Pasta was a little flat on flavor. Open Table lists this place at $30 and under. Very few options are under $30 so we were not expecting to pay as much as we did for dinner.

Second time we've been there. Both times I reserved the dining room and we were seated in the bar. When I asked why, they aggressively and showed me I'm an unfriendly way an iPad telling me I made a bar reservation. I've made hundreds of reservations on open table and this has never happened. And now it's happened twice at HW. Irritating! The the food. On our first visit, I ordered the bone in strip steak medium rare. I was brought a steak that looked nothing like a bone in strip and it was well done. They did remake it at my request, but by the time I got it, my family was finished, the sides were cold, and our bottle of wine was gone. This visit, it happened again. our friend ordered the filet and received 2 small pieces of over cooked meat. They remade it, but like our first time, everyone else was finished with their meals, the sides were cold, and our wine was finished. Both these times our night out sucked because of this. What's really irritating is there was Never an offer of a glass of wine or even taking care of the cost of the messed up steak for their mistakes. They acted as if this is perfectly ok to expect at this restaurant and we just needed to be on with that.

We dined with our child, which always presents a little bit of a challenge, but the staff and our server took his underdeveloped manners in stride. The food was delicious and service was excellent.

My husband and I went for our Anniversary. I had 1 of the chef's specials and my husband had a ribeye, the food was amazing. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also had a shrimp cocktail, the size of the shrimp was huge and the sauce had the perfect heat to it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience.

Service was excellent. Food was great. I had the Prime Rib it was awesome. The only slightly negative thing I s the Crab Cake appetizer was just a tad under cooked; if that didn't happen. I'd given them 5 stars for the food!
