Had a wonderful experience! Wish something like this was around a long time ago. The ice cream was a great quality. I was amazed at how many options there were of cereals! Things I hadn't even thought of! Definitely worth the money and of great value! Love the vibes of the place!
We had so much fun at Heavy Spoon for our 13-year-old’s birthday with both his teenage friends and younger members of the family. The team was so friendly and helpful every step of the way.Now let’s talk about the yummy treats! All of the signature sundaes were so unique, delicious, fun, and had very generous servings. If you want to get creative, there are endless cereal and topping options. Many of the cereals you won’t find on store shelves. Swiss Roll or Lemon Cheerios? Yes, please! We even attempted the Heavy Spoon Challenge with 4 cereals and a gallon of milk. We didn’t finish it but it sure was fun!Thank you so much to Heavy Spoon for making this party a huge hit with our teens!
Not bad ice cream but pretty expensive. For $7.50 you get one scoop of ice cream with two cereals on top. As someone who doesn’t need cereal on ice cream, I wouldn’t come here again
It was a bit pricey but the portion was huge. I got the heavy Carmel drop and I’m already craving another one.
Insane amount of food for the price. Very good overall
Found this gem of a place in the heart of downtown Champaign last night. Great vibes and great people at the counter, It’s got all my favorite cereals, great spot for the late night munchies. Can’t wait to try the next new combination for myself. Also has some pretty good art work pictures on the wall and a huge Chalkboard you can write a message on in the back of the store. Check it for yourself and support a upcoming business. :)
I very highly recommend the red velvet waffle with ice cream. Absolutely fantastic. The ice cream portions are huge. The owner’s mother (aunt?) was there and was incredibly nice as well. The artwork is very fun especially if you have a kid. It was also fun seeing all the different cereals I ate as a child. I want to try the actual cereal ice cream bar as well. It’s a cool place and I need to go back to eat the red velvet waffle again soon
I placed an online order and my husband picked it up. I swear this was like the best combination of foods I've ever had. My 10 year old decided we will be visiting again on Saturday. Make sure you have plenty of oreos! :)
The ice cream bowl was very good. Service wasn't up to par. Only 1 table in the place and had to wait 5 minutes to order because staff was outside talking to someone, and the only person inside was hidden on a cell phone and wasn't able to make orders too.

They rarely get my order right, which can be frustrating because it’s just ice cream. Has happened 4 times. I recommend calling before ordering on a delivery app to encourage the works to read your order carefully.

Expect excess when you come here. Everything is over the top in a good way! There aren't really sizes so you get what you get and for the price, you get a lot. That being said the ice cream is good quality. It looks like they have Haagen Dazs from the ice cream container labels. You can top it with pretty much any cereal you've ever heard of and there were cereals I'd never even seen before. Their shakes are also really good and again over the top. The people working were very friendly and helpful with figuring out what options there are and how to order.
Unique concept. Not really my cup.of tea but I totally get the appeal. I misread the menu and ordered a bowl of ice cream, which had three scoops (too many for me), and two drizzles. One drizzle came with it and one was extra. The bowl cost just over $11. For a person who really just wanted a simple scoop or two in a cup, it was too much and cost too much. I realized afterward that there was a cup on the menu for $7.50. I don't know what that would have included, but it probably would have suited me better. Also, I ordered a simple chocolate ice cream, which is always my tester for a new ice cream place, and it was ok. Nothing special about the ice cream flavor. I think the idea of the shop is the toppings, cereal, and ice cream combos you can get, etc. Which again, wasn't my thing, but I get the appeal of it for others.

Best bubble waffle ever! The ice cream tasted really good with and came with my mom for breakfast. This place is definitely worth it to come here!
Got the heavy banana cream shake and it was super good! Literally my only critique is that it took a while for the shake to be made. Can't wait to come back and try the other flavors!
