My husband and I visited Houlihans for the first time for Valentine’s Day. The food was amazing! And Juia was such a doll, very attentive, and friendly. The overall experience was top notch. We will visit again soon!

Wonderful lounge atmosphere. Greeted immediately and seated during more comfortable (read:less busy) hours. Service is efficient and courteous and food was wonderful. We had stuffed mushrooms, salmon bowl, and Mahi tacos (grilled). We were full and took some home. The mushrooms were huge and SO good. Highly recommend.

Manager Sam S directed to a seat at the bar where BTN was on the tv screen, Malbec wine was excellent, Berger and fries were delivered promptly and tasted very good, service was exceptional
Food was poor. Swordfish over cooked. Ribeye beaten to 3/8 of an inch thick. The only thing good was the dessert. For a NYE dinner the cost was $300 for 2. Not worth it!
The food was amazing mahi mahi was fried to perfection. The service was speedy and the atmosphere was kinda of empty but also meant it was quiet which was great. Would come again.

The staff was very kind and accommodating after a late night snowy Illini football game. Several families came in and they welcomed us with open arms and warm food. We were all SO appreciative to have somewhere to go close to the stadium! I can't wait to come back.
Everything was fine, but menu was significantly limited due to the fact that University of Illinois had played a football game that day. This was a disappointment as our group wanted a greater choice of offerings.
Service was great, the bartender Sam was great we stopped in there for drinks and was always served and our drinks were never empty.

I ordered the teriyaki salmon and fried mushrooms. My total bill. Was $38.00. My order was to go and was ready within 15 minutes. Pros: Quick service and the food was hot. Cons: Taste. I had high hopes for the mushrooms since I’m a huge fan of all types of mushrooms. However, these were very bland. They were served with a horseradish sauce which was tasty but the mushrooms tasted like eating mushrooms in bread. The salmon was also very bland. No salt. No seasoning. And No teriyaki sauce. The root veggies were palatable.

The service here is amazing! Al, my server was excellent! He was attentive and not hovering. He made sure everything was brought out in the right order nothing was rushed. His service alone will definitely make me return when I am in town!
