I came by here before three home football games so far during the 2025 season expecting the bar to be open. Well, their Google listing said they’d be open. They weren’t, and their hours weren’t posted at the door, either. Why the heck would a campus bar not be open before a home football game? I even asked at Murphy’s if the Illini Inn is still in business. I was told it was. If so, how about posting accurate hours online and on your door? That’s what viable businesses do.
Okay, here is a follow up as of 11/21/25. I emailed the Illini Inn several weeks ago to ask if they are really in business and to tell me what their real hours are. No one responded. So, I called them today after 4 PM when they allegedly are open. I’ve called 13 times so far today. No one picks up. I keep getting a message saying they are too busy to answer. I even tried the option to leave a message to get info on a group event. Couldn’t do that, either. The mailbox is full.
So, it’s obvious. This place is either out of business or they’re well on the way to shutting their doors for good. What a shame, and what lousy focus on their customers.

I have gone here multiple times. This is a restaurant that I always enjoy going to. I really enjoy the chicken wings here. I always make sure to get it when I come here. It is quite good. I would recommend you eat here

Wing rating. Absolutely horrendous wing experience. Ordered a pound of boneless ($15), and was supremely disappointed when I received my order. Not nearly enough wings, especially for the price, and the wings were not good. Left the place just as hungry as I came in. Not going back for wings. Do better. Hugh out.

The service was extremely slow and the orders came out wrong. Terrible experience compared to last semester.
Slow and unresponsive service. Place has gone progressively down hill, especially since last semester.
Great service, the bartender was great! My son is now part of the mug club.
