The staff is super cool and it still has that 1950s vibe. quality was superb, but it is getting quite expensive..

We went to Jarlingâs Custard Cup and while the custard itself was good, the service was very disappointing. We ordered through the drive-thru, but the employee kept saying he couldnât hear me. After repeating the order several times, I thought everything was finally correctâunfortunately, it wasnât.
When I pointed out the mistake, the man handing us the custard looked at the order-taker as if this was a common issue. It was frustrating and made the experience more annoying than enjoyable.

Really nice custard collection. Bit crowded during evenings. Loved the fudge brownie. Tried Illini pie, never thought that it will be that big, plain soon after the topping.
A very lovely custard ice cream place in town. It's very good!!! They have the flavor of the week you can try. The patio area is very nice in the summer. Cool place

Absolutely delicious custard! The classic banana split is fabulous, but really everything on the menu is good. The only thing I don't appreciate is they tend to pre-make their waffle cones especially when busy (which I understand for customer turnover), but it is a little disappointing when (as a customer) you can see they make the waffle cones fresh just to set them out for potential upcoming orders. I really love the appeal of a 'fresh' waffle cone or bowl, but be weary that may not always be what you are getting.
