Thid used to be my favorite ice cream stop but no more. I've tried giving them several chances since fall 2023. Snowstorms ingredients are so scant as to be unnoticeable. Cold fudge sundaes at over $6 barely have any fudge. I kept thinking it was a fluke. Staffing issue. But this is a trend after 5 attempts. I'm done paying premium prices for minimal products. Sad as this is a Champaign institution but this is ridiculous.

A multi generation favorite place to gather in warm weather for treats, or a great spot for pick up and go via the take out window pr drive through). Plenty of outdoor tables and benches for the warm weather. Top rated and highly regarded favorite for both locals and college students. Many options for custard treats and a whole lot of topping or mix-in choices. Frozen cakes, pies, and novelties.

What a terrific old style custard stand! Base flavors include the standard chocolate and vanilla, but they also have lemon and strawberry, which is unique. Super friendly service in the walkup window. I tried the lemon custard, which was excellent. Love the overall vibe. I visited during the off-season, but I heard it gets really busy in the warmer weather. A must visit when in Champaign!

I absolutely love, custard, ice cream, and Jarling's never disappoints. my absolute favorite is lemon custard, and it's always on the menu. I also loved the clean, scrubbed face students they employ, and the very friendly service. I'm a longtime fan!

Cold fudge and teddy bear cup are still my favs and I'm almost 40. Been going here with the grandparents since I was a kid, great memories and unique treats. When I go back, not much has changed, still a great visit every time. Their flavors of the week are fun and unique too.Parking: Parking lot next to store and outdoor picnic tablesWheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking near door. One set of pull out doors to go through to get to the order counter. No stairs or ramps needed to get inside

We came in a cold Saturday afternoon. There was no line and was able to get my custard right away and the staff was friendlyI didn't see many flavors on their menu and ended up getting vanilla. I do agree with my fellow yelpers on their pricing. It's definitely on the expensive side. I recently had some custard in Wisconsin with more flavors and bigger portioning for a lot less than what I paid here. Regardless, it's still some damn delicious custard.
