Would love to try this place but their hours suck. Some people work for a living m-f 8-6 and closed on the weekends? Sucks...good luck your going to need it during these hard times for businesses ... Food looks good but I guess I will never know

My favorite Poke bowls. Always good and always fresh. There's about 4-5 seats inside at a bar style seating. Free parking right outside, building is on the west side of the building, sort of across from Hampton Inn (and a little south).

Love my Poke Bowls from Broadway Food Hall, King Kuma and the Poke Shack in Mahomet! This is a weekly lunch for me because it’s healthy, fresh and delicious!!!

If I could rate 10 stars I would. Food looks mouthwatering and tastes great, and the owner was very nice and welcoming.

Wonderful new restaurant in southwest Champaign, Il , located at Carle at the Fields. The restaurant is small only about 12 chairs but the food was fantastic. Where else can you go for Poke and a taste of Hawaii. Eat in or takeout which ever you want, go, try it is worth the time and the price.

I recently read about King Kuma and, having been to good poke places in Maui and Las Vegas, decided to give this relatively new local one a try. The restaurant is located at The Fields, just off Staley and Curtis roads. It is right around the corner from El Toro at The Fields. Hooray for finally getting more lunch options on the southwest side of Champaign-Urbana! There is a check off list for ordering a poke bowl. I opted for a regular bowl for $9.50 (king bowl is $10.75). My first choice was for the protein -- raw tuna and crab. For my base, I chose both brown rice and mixed greens. Next up: veggies. You can choose up to three without incurring additional costs. I selected red cabbage, cucumbers and seaweed salad. For my three toppings, I chose masago, jalapenos and fried onions. To finish the bowl off, I selected spicy mayo and added $1 to my cost to get today's special, a piece of tempura shrimp added. I took my bowl to go. There was soy sauce and wasabi available for eating in or take out. The owner/manager also gave me a small bowl of miso soup. The verdict: Excellent lunch! The miso was very good. I am generally not a huge fan of miso, but this was great! The ingredients in the bowl all appeared to be very fresh and were certainly tasty. Bravo! I definitely think that King Kuma is a winner and a great place to go for a reasonably priced healthy lunch.

Met one of the owners and he is a super cool, genuine guy. His passion for food really shows. The poke bowls are very tasty.
