Our waiter was kind and wonderful! The food was excellent. The place is beautiful. We come here very time we visit and we are always happy. It's seriously an amazing restaurant!
Consistently great food and great service!!! A fantastic place to bring friends from out of town. The sleeper on the menu...the best chicken wings in town!!!
It's all about the money now. Smaller rolls, bigger price tags. More expensive per roll than in the burbs where quality is better too. Rolls are good. Wait staff is hardworking but haven't been trained. Would hope you could get a better experience at the price point. We all said the experience was so much better in the old space.
The food was all good and plated beautifully. Our server was wonderful and everything was efficient. Perfect choice for Graduation weekend.
We have been to this place a few times but this time the sushi and rolls were very average. It's been better in the past. We will likely give it another chance though. It was extremely busy but the service and promptness was very good.
Some confusion at the start. The host said we didn't have a reservation even though I showed him my confirmation on my phone. We sat for a long time before anyone approached dour table then within 2 minutes we had 2 waiters who were frustrated when we said someone just stopped by table. Finally the waiter we did end up with was super friendly. But the food came to quickly. We weren't finished with our appetizers when the sushi rolls arrived.
We arrived for our reservation and were seated. The server did not arrive until about 20 minutes later and took our drink and food order. She then disappeared for a long time. Half the table received waters 20 minutes later. We had to ask 4 times for our drinks and they finally came about 80 minutes after we sat down. The food never arrived. The hostess, who seemed very unconcerned about our situation, said the order was probably lost because she couldn't find it, and that they would put our order in but it would take a while because the kitchen was behind. We finally just left, more than 90 minutes after we arrived. It was frustrating and embarrassing as we had invited both of my son's sets of grandparents to celebrate his graduation and we all left upset and hungry.
Absolutely terrible. We booked Ko Fusion very far in advance to celebrate my son's graduation. The restaurant grossly overbooked so that when we arrived we were seated in the “lower patio”. This was the parking lot with folding tables and chairs. The waiter who greeted us and took our order proceeded to forget he had a table. It took over 45 minutes to get our drinks. When we asked the hostess who brought our drinks about our food order, she brought out a woman who appeared to be the manager or owner. We didn't get an apology, only that she'd find the server. When the server arrived, he told us the kitchen was still working on our food. By this time, an hour and a half after we ordered, we were cold, starving, and tired of sitting in a parking lot. We asked for the bill, and the server seemed relieved. Still no apology. We paid and left to find somewhere else we could eat during UIUC graduation weekend.
Experience was fantastic. Service and food, 5 star. We shared sushi rolls and all four were delicious. Our server was very attentive and professional. Great experience.
We had appetizers and the curry chicken. All the food was excellent and our server was extremely busy but wonderful.

Sadly, this was the worst experience so far.... I have been a huge fan during “move-in, Mom's Weekend, move-out” for all three of my children during their consecutive / overlapping attendance at UIUC. This past visit our server actually “shushed” us, in our semi-private room we had to ourselves. I was with two other Mothers and one Dad, 4 Seniors and myself and we were enjoying being together (one last time). However, the portion sizes have drastically reduced, the restaurant didn't have the same vibe as it has in the past, and the prices were way too high for what we were served! Sadly, won't be going back even though my child will be attending UIUC one more year to obtain her degree.
Very under prepared for a valentines evening. Drinks took an insane amount of time. Very backed up and the overall dinner took about 3 hours because of how backed up they were. However the server did do their best to acknowledge and apologize.
I have been a long time customer of KoFusion & to say this visit was disappointing is an understatement. There were many things on the menu that they were.”out of” yet the ingredients in those items were ingredients that were in many of the other rolls. So none of our favorites were offered. They were also not serving dessert that evening, which was not something that was listed on their website. It was Valentine's Day so we went in expecting that it would be busy and maybe Service might be a little more hectic than normal however, there was no mention of a reduced menu or special menu for Valentine's Day, which did not include our favorite dishes or desserts. We get over here many people trying to order the same things we did which are some of the most popular items on their menu that they were not serving or as they told us “out of” during our visit. The servers also did not seem to be informed about the changes because they had to take our orders to the kitchen and then return in order to tell us that they were not serving those things that evening they had crowded so many small tables into the side rooms that if you were a couple of two sitting at one of those small tables, you were literally bumping into the people at the table next to you. I have always thought of confusion as a more high-end restaurant and am prepared to pay a higher price for great food great service and great ambience. They didn't deliver on any of these !! It is very sad to see where they have come from and where they are now, we will not be returning anytime soon
Spent 3 days in Champaign to visit my son for my birthday - it's our favorite spot! I only eat here when I'm in town. Sevice and food is always amazing and fresh. Friendly and professional waitstaff beyond compare!
Took a while to get service and then had two people come to our table trying to figure out who's it was. Did like the gated parking. It was hard to get out with a very large truck blocking us after the meal. The food was good atmosphere was a little loud. Overall, I would go again.
