When I first started ordering Crunchy’s Chicken a few years ago, the food was solid. The chicken tasted good, the biscuits were on point, and even though it wasn’t the healthiest option, it was enjoyable and satisfying.
Recently, however, something changed with the chicken preparation. On a newer order, the chicken itself was infused with a liquid hot sauce or spicy mixture inside the meat. At first, I assumed it might have been a mistake, so I didn’t complain and gave them the benefit of the doubt.
I ordered again later, and the same thing happened.
In my opinion, this change completely ruins the chicken. Not everyone wants hot sauce infused inside the meat. Spice should be an option that can be added on the outside if you choose, not forced into the chicken by default. The original formula worked fine and didn’t need to be changed.
Because of this, I will no longer order from Crunchy’s Chicken. This review is strictly about the food, not customer service. The new preparation is disappointing and takes away from what used to be a good product.

You know what they say… when the chef is brown the food won’t let you down.
Seasoned amazingly, super high quality. I can’t eat fried chicken more than once a month, but I’ve gone to this place twice in two weeks. Fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Very good fried chicken - if you are looking for the standard crispy (not nashville style chicken) - this is the place to go! I wish they would slightly reduce the salt in the seasoning but otherwise very good! And super cheap too. You can get like 4 pcs of chicken for like $10-11

I used to love getting okra and gizzards from here. It used to be so crispy and the gizzards tender. I seen they had them back after not ordering for awhile due to them not having those specific items. I was so disappointed when it arrived. The okra was not remotely crispy although it was hot. It was instead sad and mushy. The potato wedges, Luke warm and well, mushy. Zero crisp. The gizzards were warm and crispy but very tough! Couldn't bite them in many places and very hard to chew. Not even the biscuit was good considering it was uncooked and dough in spots. I wanted so badly the same quality I used to receive.
Service was extremely slow,food was good though.
