The chips tasted like a week old I never had that kind of experience and I ask for fajitas and normally it comes with salad and it didn't come with it sorry for this...

Food is very mediocre here. You can find a lot better Mexican food in Champaign for similar prices.

Food is very delicious! Different menu items than other Mexican restaurants in town. The staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend!

This place is 💯 percent garbage. I have ordered multiple items from there menu and each time it has been flavorless and disgusting, I don't know how they gorlt 4.5 stars this place is nasty like every other restaurant in Champaign.

Bad food and cancelled an order on uber eats twice with no notification. Closed on most normal days. Don’t eat if you don’t want food poisoning!

My husband and I went here for our first time, their service was great and the food was amazing. We ordered el pastor tacos for our appetizer which were delicious, my husband had birria tacos and I had chori chicken (both were amazing) we definitely will recommend this to anyone looking for a good place to eat.

Be aware that they provide a seafood soup (made with shrimp powder) alongside their salsa and chips. It was placed and the server immediately left. We had no reason to suspect it was something with shrimp since the breakfast/lunch menu seemed to mostly be typical Mexican fare. If they had taken a moment to say “this is a seafood/shrimp soup” we would’ve known to convey allergy information. A staff member should always tell you what something is & warn you about allergens if they place something in front of you that you didn’t order. As a result of this lack of communication, my partner is dealing with an allergic reaction.

Other than that issue, the food was good and reasonably priced and it was nice inside.

La Bahia is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I really love the Peña Rellana. The staff are amazing and I love the artistic vibes in the restaurant.

We stopped in for the first time before a concert at the Virginia Theatre. It was a Tuesday night, so it was not very busy. The waitress was very polite and helpful. She explained a few things on the menu that we had questions about. The food was very good and reasonably priced. It was not your typical mid-west Mexican restaurant. We would recommend them and will be back.
PS Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays specials. My wife and sister-in-law had those and enjoyed them.

Kid-friendliness: It seemed like an appropriate environment for children.

This was a very different flavor, but in the best way. Around home, our mexican food mostly has a similar taste/feel. I was surprisingly shocked, but it was affordable and delicious. We will be back!
