Super yummy as always!! Service is very quick and I enjoy being able to order and pay using the kiosks.

i come here often for my caffeine fix with their strawberry matcha latte!! along with the music i love the lady who always greets customers so cheerfully. during the fall break when she wasn't around it didn't feel the same without her greetings

I recommend going on Tuesdays for bogo with friends! The drink was good but the coffee wasn’t there.

I love the wide range of options that can be made vegan simply by choosing a non-dairy milk! I tried the roasted brown sugar milk tea and the Thai milk tea, both with oat milk and really enjoyed them! My best friend had a mango smoothie with lychee jelly and a strawberry matcha latte, both good as well! Overall a great option for boba and drinks on campus, but it could be improved by taking away the uncharge for the non-dairy milks! Updated from previous review on 2025-04-22

Ube says it all. I guess this is the only place that you can get a decent Ube drink & dessert in Champaign-Urbana.

Latea is a great place for bubble tea, it’s probably my favorite in C-U (and there are a lot of options)!

They have a good variety of tea, and it is always tasty. Some options that I recommend are Assam black tea, Taiwanese oolong, Thai milk tea, and jasmine green tea. Either with milk or plain, these are all good options. In addition to customizing ice amount, sugar level, and toppings, I appreciate that you can substitute different milk options into your milk tea.

Their boba is what sets them apart from other places in the area, in my mind, since it is made in-house. My favorite is the honey longan boba, but they also have brown sugar boba if you prefer.

Finally, the staff is always very friendly!

I like the Jasmine green milk tea with Logan honey bubbles! It tasted pretty good”traditional style”, brought me back when I was a kid - Taiwanese boba used to taste like this! The green tea and creamer are perfectly blended, you can from both the taste and tiny foam on top. The boba is chewy, Taiwanese describes it as “QQ的”. I have to say Logan honey’s sweetness and bubbles are perfect match!

However, the size of bubbles are a slightly too large for me, nowadays boba chains in Taiwan offer a bit smaller size’s bubbles.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. I ORDERED BOBA, AND THEY COMPLETELY SCREWED IT UP. THE DRINKS TASTED DISGUSTING, AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET MY SIMPLE ORDER RIGHT. IT'S WAY OVERPRICED FOR BOBA THAT TASTES LIKE FLAVORED WATER WITH CHEWY PLASTIC BALLS. THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE, AND I PAID A LOT FOR SOMETHING I COULDN'T EVEN FINISH. I COULD'VE GOTTEN MUCH BETTER BOBA SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR HALF THE PRICE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE—THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT, AND IT SMELLS WEIRD TOO!
