Latea Bubble Tea Lounge - Family Recipe Boba

I like the Jasmine green milk tea with Logan honey bubbles! It tasted pretty good”traditional style”, brought me back when I was a kid - Taiwanese boba used to taste like this! The green tea and creamer are perfectly blended, you can from both the taste and tiny foam on top. The boba is chewy, Taiwanese describes it as “QQ的”. I have to say Logan honey’s sweetness and bubbles are perfect match!

However, the size of bubbles are a slightly too large for me, nowadays boba chains in Taiwan offer a bit smaller size’s bubbles.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. I ORDERED BOBA, AND THEY COMPLETELY SCREWED IT UP. THE DRINKS TASTED DISGUSTING, AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET MY SIMPLE ORDER RIGHT. IT'S WAY OVERPRICED FOR BOBA THAT TASTES LIKE FLAVORED WATER WITH CHEWY PLASTIC BALLS. THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE, AND I PAID A LOT FOR SOMETHING I COULDN'T EVEN FINISH. I COULD'VE GOTTEN MUCH BETTER BOBA SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR HALF THE PRICE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE—THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT, AND IT SMELLS WEIRD TOO!

I freaking LOVE the mango smoothie here, but ONLY when it doesn't have any extra sugar. Each time I get it though, it has a different sweetness level. If it was more consistent, I would be regular customer. I'm very sensitive to added sugar/sweeteners so sometimes I can't finish the entire drink. It's so close to being so good :(

Bubble tea is not good for how expensive it is. They don't offer any other type of boba than brown sugar is does not compliment the drinks well.

the place is a nice stop to get some boba at campus. the place is very aesthetic and calming and they have a lot of drink options. I had got a strawberry matcha with boba and it was absolutely amazing. Thought when i had gotten the drink, they messed up the sizing. But they were really nice about fixing it. I would definitely recommend to a friend

UPDATE:
I went there again, and the drink was still amazing. But once again, they got the order wrong. i order a strawberry milk drink and got back a matcha strawberry milk drink, i had only realized when i already left. Latea serves great drinks but it seems staff do not pay attention to details in order.

Best in town! Fresh Housemade boba. You can’t get it anywhere else. Ube crème brulee is a must try 50% sweet with oat milk.

Best, and most authentic, bubble tea at CU.The tea is sourced directly from Taiwan, and Latea makes their boba in-house; from scratch, from a family recipe. Latea has lots of customizable options to make the drink MY drink.If you're tired of the watered-down, 90% sugar alternatives on campus- and have only had gooey, sticky, gummy, imported boba; you HAVE to stop and try here, try it fresh.

Not bad, but honestly not great. They have the best matcha on campus, but it is very expensive. I think it ended up being close to $8 for a regular iced matcha with soy milk sub. Comfortable seating area, can get a little loud, but to be expected with a cafe.

this is some of the BEST boba milk tea I've ever had !! I got taro milk tea, 25% sugar, oat milk, & house made Logan honey boba. the drink itself is so flavorful and creamy & the boba is SO delicious and amazing texture. too bad it's 3 hours away from where I live ?
