I love this place for a simple, easy and homey breakfast. It's never a hassle and the food is always solid.

Great food! Lots of choices. Good service. Had a spinach, bacon, cheese omelet and it was very good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their choices.

Service was great and friendly. Go hungry as it’s a lot of food for the money. For 3 people it was a bit expensive but now days you can’t get much for the money.

Overrated breakfast spot IMO. My wife's over easy eggs were cooked hard. She sent them back. Quite some time later replacement eggs arrived, but were also overcooked. Peasant potatoes were tepid and the pancakes pedestrian. Waitress was less than attentive. High points were the hot coffee.and our friend's scrambled eggs, which he described as fluffy.

Biscuits and gravy had an odd oily taste. Biscuit was dry. Potatoes not crispy. Waitress said they can't leave them on the grill long enough.Wouldn't eat there again if the food was free.

Excellent place for a big weekend breakfast. Great food, super nice staff, and so reasonably priced compared to similar places in the Chicago burbs. Worth the drive from UIUC if that’s what brings you to town. They were short-staffed today and could not offer patio dining. A party ordered their food to go and ate outside. What a good idea. They bypassed the wait and seemed very happy. I’ll think of that next time.
