A townie, I visited Legends after about two years this July. Inflated prices. A pint of draft beer for about $6 ok, , but -- seriously -- an order of chips and dip or chips and salsa for over $8?? And the tortilla chips were like cardboard and out of a bag. C+. Any local Mexican restaurant would do a better job for less.
Hard working staff. Lost my drink on a busy night and the manager was super courteous and she offered me a replacement. Good for all occasions overall. Would recommend at any time of the day.
Centrally located, affordable prices, decent selection of food, and everyday has a different drink special - it doesn’t get better than this for a campus bar. Don’t forget to ride the rail!
Highly recommend the fish sandwich. It’s weird to recommend seafood in central Illinois, but trust me, it is so good. Service can be a little slow when they get busy, but I can’t fault them for that. Know how to get the bartenders attention and you’ll get your drink...
