Love the library cafe. Teas and coffees have always been good. Service is always friendly and speedy. Since it's in the library the atmosphere is also great.
Nice cafe inside Champaign Public Library (which is great on its own!). NO CHARGE for milk alternatives!! Espresso, drip coffee, cold brew, tea, prepackaged cooler options (juice, seltzer, etc.). Some vegan food options including bags of chips, veggie and fruit bowls, and a veggie hummus wrap. They are unsure if the wrap itself is entirely vegan ingredients but are looking into it, seems to just be a large flour wrap. Prices are great- they also have a punch card (10 drinks for 1 free) and $1 hot coffee with your own cup. Coffee and tea are sourced local from Columbia Street Roastery. Free parking on multiple bus lines, and easily walkable from UIUC. Great public library and a great place to work, socialize, etc. Outdoor seating available too!
Everyone in the library is nice, and the workers give you generous portions. The price is great for what you get. Worker filled the smoothie to the brim.

Cool cafe in the library, coffee drinks, sodas, food/pastries, all at reasonable prices, much less than a typical coffee shop would charge.
Are the hot chocolate

I didn't eat but the Cafe breve was perfect. Service was prompt and friendly. I sat and worked on a project while people came and went . Perfect for me. If you want less activity there is a quiet study room. It is very active in the afternoon after Edison lets out.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: wheel chair accessible I think. The table space is very open. Front doors to the library are large and automatic. I don't know how the counter might feel if you are using a wheelchair

The Cafe has many things to offer,I don't normally purchase but there's alot to chose from. They got fresh fruit, they have a variety of drinks, even types of coffee. They have like a freezer with anything from water to certain soda drinks. They sale sweets to, its ideal if u want a snack or something healthy just remember to keep a lid on your drink if u want to walk around the library, they have rules and laws u have to go by like any places else.
We went there, specifically, to check out the Friend's Bookstore. The Bookstore is in the basement, with shelves and shelves of well organized books for sale. Fiction is alphabetized by author. The non-fiction is broken down into tons of meaningful categories. Upstairs, there is an unbelievable number of DVDs to borrow. There is also a coffee shop, with both indoor and outdoor seating. A very impressive Library!
Nice library, I like also space kids, excellent idea

Bring your tumbler and it will becup one dollar. Their beverage is cheaper than other cafes. This cafe is clean too.
Decent food but overpriced for library goers.
Awesome place
I had a nice vegetarian wrap. And it was amazing. I want another.
They usually have great options for a quick snack.
