It was okay. The burger was overdone. I like their sweet potato fries but overall I wish this space were still Meatheads.

If I could leave no stars I would. Got a patty melt and the Bun was made up of two top buns smashed as flat as possible and messily out together with peppers and jalapeños. The farm house burger had an under cooked egg and looked like it was slapped together. Ordered a strawberry shake and it tasted foul. I wouldn’t recommend this place. On top of bad food they have bad service.

Made a large order online (10 individual orders) burgers were thrown into a large brown paper bag. Nothing was labeled so we had to open each container and guess what it was. French fries orders were also thrown into a large brown paper bag. Burgers were way overcooked. The lettuce wrapped burger was a piece of meat with shredded lettuce thrown on top. Really! I liked Meathead better

I tried it and feel like my money was wasted. The burger was so small and actually looked like it was already bitten or missing a portion. Very sloppy presentation. Overpriced for what I received

Stopped in real quick and our whole family stayed 2-3 times how good the burgers were!

The service was friendly and the food came out within a reasonable time. However, the price for the food is very high for Champaign illinois. The burger was decent but for the price there are significantly nicer burger joints you could go to.

Food was actually pretty good but completely over priced 10$ for a burger the size of Mcdouble? And almost 3 bucks for soda cup the size of a red solo cup? I got garlic parm fries a burger and a drink and it was 22$. You can drive 2 blocks to the El Torro and get almost double the meal for half the price, chips, a waiter and a table you dont have to pick up. I would not recomend this place.

My boyfriend and I excitedly tried Epic Burger today. He ordered the cowboy and I ordered the classic. Looking at the picture of the burgers they showed them to be fairly think and the classic has pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauce. The burger I received looked just like my boyfriends which was the cowboy except it didn’t have the bacon on it. The burger is paper thin like steak n shakes burgers and was super over cooked so it was very dry. They don’t put any seasoning on the meat while cooking so it just tasted like burnt meat. My boyfriend took 2 bites of his and didn’t finish it. When I say it didn’t taste good, it truly didn’t! The fries although not fresh did have a nice flavor, just wished they were served warm. All in all today Epic Burger was an Epic Failure. We won’t be back.

All of the reviews prior to 9/5/24 were for the once great meatheads, they deserved the 5 star rating. This location has changed owners but kept the reviews.
The new “Epic” burger is awful. Prices increased for smaller portions. The large fry is $7 and is just a slightly larger individual portion. The difference like a kids size and a medium at McD.
Their base burger is a single smash burger style patty for $10-$13. Standard in CU for that price is 2 patties.
Fries are good, burger was bland and the ones with bacon came with only a single slice. One person got the turkey burger who said it was horrible.
Menu was also not as advertised. They do have gluten free buns for an up charge but do not offer lettuce wraps. Some of the specialty burgers the online menu listed were also not available.
They kept at least some of the staff, who were very nice and understandable in our disbelief when we thought we ordering shareable size fries/larger burgers and instead our entire party left hungry.
Do not bother with this new place. There are lots of great burger places in town, this is not one of them.

I was there for the grand opening and the burger was OK, not epic, and the strawberry milkshake was thin and runny, more like strawberry milk. I went again later in the week with my husband. He had the farmhouse burger, no fries, and I ordered the Cali chicken with sweet potato fries and we both got medium drinks. For a $40 meal, it was solidly mid. Both sandwiches lacked flavor and the fries were chewy and also not flavorful. The table was sticky and the bathroom wasn't very clean (which I think is a sign of overall cleanliness). The lady at the counter was very nice. Most of the decor is the same from meatheads, but there are few updates. Save your money and make a burger at home or head to Farren's or 5 guys.

Very good snack. Very good service. The attendant seems like he was born for this. It reminded me of a Brazilian snack.

We were only in town for the weekend and decided to give Epic Burger a try, and the only upsetting thing I can say is, I WISH WE HAD ONE IN OUR TOWN! This place is delicious! My husband and I can't decide if we like the burger or the chicken sandwich more. And the shakes....YUM!!!
