Recently ordered the hibachi grill to go. Decent portions, and they give lots of veggies which is a plus. The hibachi grill set includes fried rice, miso soup, protein, grilled veggies, and two shrimp dumplings. The crunch french fries were disappointing- I don't think they can survive packaging as well and should definitely be enjoyed in the restaurant when that is possible again. Also to those ordering Miga to go, they are currently operating out of Naya.

Miga is one of the most luxurious restaurants in the Urbana Champaign I've ever been to! The interior has recently been remodeled and it’s soo beautiful. I’ve always liked the contemporary atmosphere and, most importantly, the quality of the food is AMAZING without a doubt. I had sushi and sashimi combination with Katsu and both have been my favorites since years ago! Some may think the price can be a bit costly, but seriously, the quality of the food justifies everything!p.s. the server was very nice and knowledgeable :)))

We used to go to Sakanaya (sushi place at Green St) but due to COVID-19, their dine-in is close. Miga partnered with Sakanaya and offers the exact same sushi menu. This place offers dine-in option. They adhere with social distance and staffs wear mask. The sushi tastes the same and my experience has been great so far. Great ambience, great service, great food! You can even make reservation online. Best sushi in town.

Coming from Chicago to visit Champaign and saw this little restaurant downtown. Was extremely surprised with the quality, taste, and presentation of the food and drinks. Many Asian/American fare are pretty standard, so I was not expecting anything stellar. This restaurant is must when visiting downtown Champaign. Beside the delicious and unique food and craft cocktails, the service was outstanding. We sat outside on the trendy furniture, but the inside ambiance looked amazing as well.

The wife and I hadn't been out for awhile, and was looking for something new. We had the Enoki blooms for an appetizer, the were excellent and the sauce was great. I had sashimi, and all was prepped great, and very flavorful. The wife had a couple of the rolls, and she said it was very good. If I had any complaint, it was the service was a little slow. It wasn't real busy when we were there, yet it took awhile to get everything, including our drinks at the beginning. The waiter was extremely friendly, and helpful, it was just all slow coming out. I believe we will be back again.

The food is really good but do not trust them with your events. I double checked everything with them twice few days in advance but there was no communication between the staff. On the day of the event, there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant who said she had no clue about the reservation. She asked us not to order any cocktails because she couldn’t make any. She also forgot one of the orders and she was very slow probably because she was the only waitress for the whole restaurant. They also charged us for a private room fee which was free according to their website.

I used to think this place was too uppity, but it's more reasonable than a Chicago restaurant and their food is always spectacular! Definitely a good spot for a date night or taking clients out. But be sure to get a reservation! They fill up fast!
