Not a lot of fine dining places in Champaign, ILL but Nandi Milano is terrific.
Greeting by the owner/manager with a smooth Italian accent sets the tone.
I started with grilled asparagus (which was perfectly cooked and grilled to perfection!), and enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass on a bed of grains and veggies. For $280, One Lasagna entrée, the "Steak" entrée (a joke for $78) and two Moscow mules. The Lasagna was ok, ate it two days later as it was just OK but it cost $30+, my date seems to forget eating all of her steak because when the night was o er she tought she had some left . Not sure what happened there. Ambiance is nice but far nicer restaurants and bars that are far cheaper. I don't speak Italian, so no bonus for the server that could speak it ?
