Very social distancing aware. But the dining experience was excellent. They have cut menu back. Good food and good service. Friendly hostess and wait people.
We went to the restaurant in Champaign Il today for lunch. The place was not busy but service was slow, the rolls were room temp at best. My Son's bacon cheeseburger came out, the bacon was cold, he took one bite and found a long hair in it. When we told the waitress, she had the manager remove it from our ticket, she did apologize, but did not even ask if they could make something else. The manager never came around. We will not go back.
We used to love eating at O'Charleys. We ate there last December, and it was awful, but we decided to try it again today for lunch. Although there were very few customers there, the service was incredibly slow. The rolls were room temperature, not warm at all. The bacon on my sons sandwich was cold, and there was a long piece of hair in my sons food (he didn't eat his meal). The waitress finally came to our table, and we told her about our sons meal. She said that she would have the manager remove his meal from our bill. She finally returned with our ticket. We received no apology, nor did the manager come talk to us, apologize, or offer to fix another meal for our son. I completely understand that things like this happen, but we were not only disappointed in the food, but the lack of service, too. (Champaign IL location)
This place has seriously gone down hill. It used to be one of our favorite spots, but now...I probably won't be going there for a while. We've gone twice within the last 3 months and it has actually gotten worse. Understanding that the pandemic has thrown a lot of things off, the food and the service is the worst. Our waitress didn't introduce herself, never gave us refills or bread without us asking, turned and walked away from us 3 times while we were in the middle of talking...the only time she was happy is when she gave us our ticket. Not sure if I'll ever go back, which is very unfortunate. If they keep this up they will be out of business soon.
Took a while before we were greeted at the door. The person who finally acknowledged us was only half wearing her mask and perturbed. They looked to be understaffed.Addendum: Visited a second time and the service was outstanding. Wish they had more vegetarian entree options. The menu seems smaller since Covid started.
Great selection of food, very nice service. Wonderful atmosphere. Like the prices, too !!
We have been disappointed the last few times we have been there from items being unavailable because they ran out to poor service. Last evening after 20 minutes and nothing on our table yet we just left. On my do not return list.
American food and the scene here is better than most. Visited at eight, it was not full. The service here is great. The bill was reasonable.
Updated: After leaving the review we got a call from a different manager who said they'd like to fix the mistakes. They redid our order and we picked it up. Having all the ingredients definitely makes for better salads. They were also packed very differently (fried chicken in a foil wrap, butter included with the rolls, apparently missing bacon on the southern) so it seems like the crew today had their game on.Original review: 1 star. 3 items ordered: 1 item missing (potato soup), 1 item missing ingredients (cali chicken salad... no chicken), 1 item cross-contaminated (blue cheese from cali on a southern chicken).Called to ask to fix it, manager took my name and said he'd take care of it, but they were in the dinner rush. A week later, not taken care of. No message, no credit card refund, nada.
The new GM is wonderful. Made our dining experience a great one!!

Awful and if I could give it -10 stars I would! Thw first clue should have been the nearly empty parking lot. We should have kept going. The service was slow and we repeatedly had to ask for things multiple times. The food was ok, barely ok.Please heed my warning and steer clear.
Food, service and just about everything was great with our experience! Our 3 year old changed her mind about what dinner she wanted and ended up sharing with mom and me but the waiter asked if everything was ok with it. We explained that we were fine.
My wife and I stayed the night at the LaQuinta in Champagne IL. We decided to order our dinner for pick up from O'Charles. I went to pick up the order, both front doors were locked, I went to the back door and found it open. A waiter insude stated the doors were locked because they were not accepting any more table reservations for the evening. I explained I was here to pick up and stated my name, he handed me what was supposed to be our order. When I got to the room and opened the bag we discovered they gave us fries, instead of a baked potato, and coleslaw, instead of the steamed brocoli...and no utensils. Not the service we expected.
Great food great service food is a little pricey
Manager on shift was rude. They are unorganized and have no clue what they are doing. Was told I had to sit by the bar side went to be seated and they told me I was being sat somewhere else then after I questioned it they got mad at me and tried to seat me back at the bar side which was no problem. The manager wouldnt stop Harrison me about what's wrong. I dont want to carry a conversation with you I want to be seated to eat. Then he told me to leave. Will never go back there.
