This establishment stole money off my card, at check out I selected no tip yet the next day my card is charged $10 for a tip, that is theft and fraud! On top of that the food and services was not good at all hint why I wasn't leaving a tip, stay away from this establishment unless you want to be robbed the next day!

This is a wonderful place, with great people and excellent food. One of my family's go-tos for takeout, delivery, or dine-in. Best in town.

Nice people. Over priced food. Paid $33 for orange chicken, chicken fried rice and 2 egg rolls. Food was overly sweet. Duck sauce tasted old or borderline spoiled. The Orange Chicken had more breading than chicken. Rice was okay. Chicken in rice tasted odd. Definitely only worth $15 max. Service was okay. It was takeout ..

I’ve been ordering from Peking Garden on a regular basis for over a year - the food is always delicious and the staff is amazing. You can tell that they really have a love for cooking here. This is, by far, my favorite Chinese restaurant and one of my top five restaurants overall. Please stop by to support this business and enjoy the food.

Fine Dim Sum restaurant in Chicago's main Chinatown street Wentworth. Restaurant is on the second floor overlooking shoppers and tourists walking on Wentworth. Service is very attentive for refilling tea pot, napkins, hot oil, etc. Spouse is from Hong Kong, so our Dim Sum standards are very high. Peking Garden meets those standards.

I didn’t get to feel the vibe that makes go “wow” when I walked in. The crab rangoons was golden and crispy with melted cream cheese filling inside. There was little to no crab in that filling. The BBQ pork fired rice was dried and I didn’t taste any BBQ sauce. There was chunks of fried pork in the rice. The vegetable lo mein was good. Noodles coated in seasoned sauce. Well done juicy duck was tasty and meat was soft and not too “tender.” The lettuce in sauce was very mushy for me. Either it was blanched or cooked too long with the sauce. The beef stir fry with mushrooms and bamboo shoots was good. Meat was tender and veggies not overcooked.

Took my husband here for some Chinese comfort food and it delivered. He didn't have much experience with this style of food but loved it. Highly recommend the assorted appetizer platter for two (let's you try a bite of everything). We also got the combo noodle plate (my husband loved this dish, he'd never had chow mein noodles before), empress Chicken (sooo yummy!) and the wood ear pork (the pork in this dish was amazingly tender). The server was very sweet and kept our glasses full. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.

American, yet authentic Chinese restaurant. There are a lot of items on here that are Americanized but also some more Chinese items. I went here family style with a group of friends. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was really tasty. Dumplings were deep fried and delicious. The crispy pork had a nice sweet and sour sauce. The mapo tofu had an unexpected mala like flavor to it with the mouth numbing feeling. We had friend rice, some chicken with noodles, Mongolian beef, and the strange chicken. All of it was quite good and I would definitely visit again for a fun family style experience. Only ended up being about $120 for 7 people.

Food is fine, but not worth the trouble. We ordered takeout and they forgot one of our entrees. No biggie, we just called back to replace it. They initially agreed to replace it but when we arrived to pick up the replacement, they insisted they had given it to us and made us pay again. They also started yelling even after we agreed to pay for the entree twice.

My guilty pleasure is Americanized Chinese food. This place has great combo plates for an affordable price! We ordered the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, chicken lo mein, and salt and pepper squid! Food was made quickly and it was good. Owners were so nice and included egg rolls and donuts in our order! Will definitely come back and also try the more traditional Chinese dishes.

Ok let’s start with the food:I ordered the Peking duck, it was 50 dollars. Alright, it’s a bit more expensive than the 30ish dollars I’d usually spend on Peking duck. I was told it’ll be a full duck but when I saw it, it was not a full duck. Alright, hopefully it still tastes good? Nah. That was the driest, blandest, peking duck I’ve ever had. It is not fresh whatsoever. I’m not sure if they made it in house or if they’d buy it from Chinatown Chicago and drive it back down to Champaign but Jesus Christ that duck was inedible. Usually, the dish is served with like a special type of like thin pancake of sorts but they just used store bought tortillas. The store bought tortillas and green onions was somehow the best part of the dish. All that for 50 bucks. I also got potstickers that were alright. Questioning whether they were made in house or not.Service: it’s pretty good, honestly no complaints hereAtmosphere: hahahaha the entire place felt like the backrooms. It’s honestly really funny. It’s legitimately one of the most surreal places I’ve ever stepped foot in. It’s like actually a fever dream. Again really no complaints here.
