Nice people. Over priced food. Paid $33 for orange chicken, chicken fried rice and 2 egg rolls. Food was overly sweet. Duck sauce tasted old or borderline spoiled. The Orange Chicken had more breading than chicken. Rice was okay. Chicken in rice tasted odd. Definitely only worth $15 max. Service was okay. It was takeout ..
I’ve been ordering from Peking Garden on a regular basis for over a year - the food is always delicious and the staff is amazing. You can tell that they really have a love for cooking here. This is, by far, my favorite Chinese restaurant and one of my top five restaurants overall. Please stop by to support this business and enjoy the food.
Fine Dim Sum restaurant in Chicago's main Chinatown street Wentworth. Restaurant is on the second floor overlooking shoppers and tourists walking on Wentworth. Service is very attentive for refilling tea pot, napkins, hot oil, etc. Spouse is from Hong Kong, so our Dim Sum standards are very high. Peking Garden meets those standards.
