The vibe was great but the food options are minimal. We got the valentines dessert platter and it was way too sweet. Not edible at all, and hard to eat as things were sticking to the place

Came back to town over the holiday break and this is hands down the best cocktail bar in town! Such cute ambiance, and a very extensive drink menu. Pictured below - the pisco sour

This bar is a true gem! The drinks are not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The bar's refined decor adds an extra touch of elegance, making it a standout destination. While the prices may lean towards the higher end, the quality and experience make it well worth it.Additionally, they offer a selection of shareable bites that complement the drinks perfectly. This bar is undoubtedly a destination for special occasions and gatherings with friends. A must-visit for lovers of great drinks!

Service is very good. I like that they have their menus on tablets. The bar tenders are friendly and helpful. The space is well lit and inviting. It does get a little loud. I'd like to go back to try their food.

Looking through reviews for a cocktail lounge in Champaign-Urbana was frustrating. College towns will have a ton of pubs and taverns, but finding an urbane lounge can be the proverbial “needle in a cornfield” in central Illinois. Some think this is the Illinoise part of Illinois. That Punch was located in a Hyatt Place hotel lowered my expectations and raised my eyebrows. The opposite occurred when I stepped off the street into the sophisticated space. Punch was metropolitan with big city suave. Jonathan, our bartender and guide, navigated me through the incredible Mezcal list. Huh, what, a Champaign, Illinois bar has one of the best liquor selections in the Midwest? That’s the truth, and it’s in a Hyatt Place hotel. We chose a glass of white Rioja and a Bozal Old Fashioned. Both were wonderful. Jonathan was utterly charming and engaging in an old school bartending manner, rather fitting in the classy interior. Able to engage, while still taking care of all his customers, Jonathan learned something many mixologists don’t practice. There are two arts involved in being a great bartender; mix a killer cocktail and make your clientele welcome. He did both. We had a great experience at Punch!

Definitely worth the stop! Tasty cocktails and good snacks well. Service was probably the best I have had in champagne/ Urbana

Loved this place. The service is spot on with a team approach that makes sure you are never wanting. And a great selection of beers and well drinks. They even know how to make the obscure (rare to find a place that knows how to make a black lily...)

The server was terrible. Would probably not come back until he leaves. Amazing experience before this but he ruined the mood,

This place is insane. The drinks are top notch and the small plates are stellar. Not to mention the customer service and atmosphere is exactly what you want in a speak easy style spot. I try and stop by here as much as possible.

King Suite, 4th floor. The floor shook when I walked down the hall. Uneasy feeling staying here in this area. Police camera set up right out the front door and across the street. Very thin walls. I could hear conversations clearly next door. Not the cleanest place. Trash in the parking lot. So many other places to stay. AC worked but was very loud. Trendy frosted bathroom barn door door. The bathroom light shines through the bathroom door if you turn the light on in the middle of the night. Positive: Large room, free parking, free breakfast.

In town for work and wanted to try this place but this place is no longer open for business ... had to go find another bar. An employee at the location next to Punch told me they closed down. Can't comment on their food, drinks, or service but safe to say that they should remove their sign as it's confusing.

We arrived at 5:20 m after a long drive from Little Rock Arkansas. Kiara was at the desk and she efficiently checked us in. When I asked for a room closer to the elevator she quickly did that. We got upstairs and discovered the volume on the TV wasn’t working as expected. I called and Kiara quickly came up and resolved the issue. This type of efficiency is on par with my stay at the Hyatt Regency Madeline in Paris. We went out for dinner and when we returned we observed Kiara catching kids riding scooters into the parking garage. She immediately shagged them out. She noted that they were putting themselves and guests using the garage at risk. This kind of diligence is to be commended.

The hotel is located near lots of restaurants and bars and the front desk crew is very nice. Unfortunately, the place is in need of repairs. The shower door would not slide, the door to the bathroom would not close at all and was wide open all the time, the refrigerator did not get very cold, there was a torn seam in the carpet, the coffee maker didn’t have the correct pod holder to make coffee, the tv was difficult to figure out with no directions in the room and carpets in the halls was filthy dirty. I don’t usually write reviews but this place is repair person’s dream. Not what one would expect from a Hyatt!
