This is an old favorite. Radio Maria has great food, great beer list, and we love the atmosphere and music. In the past, I've only visited during the evenings or later nights. My family and I most recently decided to visit on a Sunday around 2pm. We were able to get right in given the time. We missed the brunch crowd and basically had a whole side of the restaurant to ourselves. My daughter is vegan, and in the past I remembered vegetarian options. They did have vegetarian options, but no vegan options on the menu. The server worked with the chef to find options and were able to amend one of the menu items to accommodate her needs. When the rest of us went to order, 2 of us were told that they were out of the meals we'd chosen. We chose something else and again were told they were out. In the end, the meals we got were delicious. While portion sizes were a bit small, everyone left happy and had only good things to say about what they got. Our beers were crafty and there were a wide variety from many different breweries (both local and regional). This visit was enjoyable, as expected. I think we'll just avoid going during between-meal hours, as it seems we missed out on a lot of menu items we would have liked to try.

Best food. The coffee covered filet was killer. The sides were a bit on the sweet side but of still order it again. The jack filet also to die for. Went for my birthday and wanted a relaxed quiet atmosphere and that's exactly what it was. The server was super helpful and cheery. She made this first time visit great. Lastly, best Moscow mule hands down

Ever have a great meal at a restaurant and needed a takeout box to cart home the leftovers? Ever put the tasty leftovers from that great meal in the microwave and nuke them the following day? That's what my tapas experience was like at Radio Maria. Really good food that was past it's prime, warmed over and served as if it were freshly prepared. I've eaten there several times, enjoyed it and would have given it a glowing review but have never gotten around to writing one till now so this pains me to say it but their quality control has really gone downhill. Probably wouldn't have even bothered to write a negative review but it was a pretty pricey meal. Great wine though.

Inventive food that still tastes great. Truly some of the best flavors I've tried in months. Portuguese beef was out if this world. Absolutely eat here!

Wowwwwwww talk about a great breakfast spot. If you're looking for a place with great coffee, food and mimosas, this is the spot. I got the garden omelette and it was so delicious. I even got a mango mimosa and it was delish. We made a reservation and we got to choose where we wanted to sit. The waitress was super kind and made the experience all the better.

Someone should radio the owners and let them know that it's time to fix their service and kitchen. The food was passable - maybe worth 3 or 4 stars. But not when it takes over an hour to get it and it arrives cold. Plus after waiting over an hour we waited another 5 minutes to get silverware so we could eat. Are you kidding me? These are not difficult problems to solve. So the fact that they haven't addressed it means they must not care. There are lots of great restaurant choices in the area. Until Radio Maria fixes their service, I'd go elsewhere.

Quaint place, good environment for a group meal. Has a solid selection of beers and wines. Food is on the pricy side. The good: located in Champaign, good access to local bars. Lighting was well done.

I typically enjoy my dining experience here but today was unfortunately a different story. I will preface this review by acknowledging it was homecoming weekend and Sunday brunch time is usually busy. We had a reservation so things started off smooth but our wait for drinks was exceptionally long and our food order took almost an hour. My daughter's poached eggs were actually still chilled inside and my husband only received half his order and then when he finally got his biscuits & gravy the gravy was so sparse it only covered 1 biscuit. When he asked for more gravy we noticed we were charged for another serving. The food was mediocre and nothing was taken off of our bill for the several inconveniences and long wait time. The waiter continually apologized for the long wait and food issues but didn't compensate us in anyway. Very disappointing.

Used to be better. Steep prices. Food concept is good, execution was lacking. Not really worth what we paid. Not kid friendly at all. No kids menu. Had to buy my 5 year old an expensive glorified grilled cheese off the regular menu.

I did notice the chef walking around the bar and kitchen in pajama lounge pants and cooking with no gloves or a mask and he has a really long beard right over the food he's preparing.

We love this place and don't get here nearly often enough. We always get the broiled goat cheese on the pumpkin seed purée. It does not disappoint. Definitely worth a trip!
