Rumberger's Wings - Champaign

I love this place and I’ve been going here since they opened in late 2019 before the pandemics hit. I even made an effort even when working from home to support them during the pandemic by getting to go orders and picking them up. However today they made me a little weary of their customer service and desire to continue giving them business. They are closed apparently right now but you would never know that because all signs point to open. I was even able to place an online order but never got a time of when I could pick it up. When I tried to call they kept hanging out on me which meant someone was there. When a lady finally answered they where very rude and said I’d have to call the company they use for online orders, which has no way for a client to get ahold of and then another lady came on and told me the same thing. No offer to help me figure out how to get my money back because they are closed and it wasn’t their fault. Jon the owner called me and got me my money back but I basically wasted my lunch break waiting for food that would never be prepared and then told it was all my fault. Because I was supposed to know they were closed for repairs and ChowNow messed up allowing me to order. All the while me the customer was made to feel stupid and told I was to blame. I’m not sure yet if I want to come back here or will plan to let my friends know.

Have no sauces available hardly ever. Who runs one of all the spicy sauces and only offers three sauces a day? Also their phone system to order food sucks. Never will eat there again.

Favorite wing spot in ChamBana! You have to try the dirty okra. They make their own ranch that is delicious as well. Great customer service. Any time they’ve been out of something we’ve ordered online, Chansey has called us right away to touch base on any changes needing to be made.

The staff was super super nice! The food was ready on time of estimated pickup too. They tasted fresh. The only reason I rated them a 2 was because it was so extremely salty for me. I got the extra hot and the rub, dipped in ranch it was over the top salty. Sorry just not for me. The corn bites were fire though. I just couldn’t finish the wings.

Best wings I’ve ever had.

DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We had time between games at the YMCA and needed lunch. So we ordered online and picked up our order to go. The wings were hot and crispy, the sauces were full of flavor, and the fries were seasoned perfectly. It may be our new favorite wing joint and the place to go when we are in the area! Highly recommend!!

The wings were a little over cooked and dry. But they actually tasted good. The huge crinkle fries are great. I usually don't like big fries, cause most people under cook them. But they were perfectly cooked.. If the chicken had not been over cooked, I would of gave five stars.

You have to try the crac wings!!! Best wings in Champaign by far. If you haven’t eaten here you haven’t lived? and the service. Man I love it here♥️
