They had gluten free treats for me. My husband has lots of allergies and they had a flip book with the ingredients on it. Soy was not listed. It they told us they use soy spray on the pans so he just had espresso. I had a cafe latte with oat milk and a mocha cake (which is death by chocolate). It was so good.
I drove from Peoria to Champaign to ger Shokupan for my birthday. We grabbed some other goodies while we were there too! Thank you guys for making this birthday memorable for me! Your bakery is very cozy/cute
Absolutely love this place! Everything was fresh and delicious. Lovely staff, clean facilities, definitely worth a visit if you're in town.
I had the vegan chocolate loaf and it was delicious! Only one left! Just passing through town, and I'm glad I saw this place!
The best matcha in town doesn't need sweetener.
It was very good
A very lovely Japanese bakery in town. They have quite a selection of baked pastries. The atmosphere is very cute. They also have very nice options for drinks. All their baked goods are very cute. Especially, the matcha brownies, they are very good. The staff are also friendly. A cool place!!!
The strawberry flavor icecream tastes like strawberry😋😋😋.
Delicious treats! Great customer service! very friendly
Stopped in to try a variety of treats and the woman at the counter was so sweet in helping us decide what to get. We took them home and have loved everything we picked up!

I had to wait 27 minutes for an ice matcha latte. I understand there could be miscommunication between the staff, but at least once you realize it, I think you should apologize first and then prioritize the missed order. No apology, no priority — I saw four more drinks being served after they knew i’ve been waiting. This was my very first visit and I’m deeply disappointed.
Love to come here with friends for treats (or gifts!) Desserts have a very balanced sweetness, which I love about this place.
Lovely, out of the ordinary for central illinois treats and fantastic matcha
Great place, which I enjoy studying at. I enjoy their pastries. However, recently, their internet has been problematic. Although it is fast, any site that requires you to login using UIUC credentials (and some other sites) cannot be accessed.
We ordered a Yuzu cake, An Pan and Cream Pan. The Yuzu cake had a high note of lemon which was not to our liking, also the sweetness was a bit high. As for the An Pan, it was good and had the right amount of sweetness. The Cream Pan was also good, however, it would have been great if it was served warm. I am not sure if it was because we reached an hour before closing, the number of items showcased seemed less . Overall I may visit it sometime with friends, but not personally.
