Cute place but VERY expensive. I paid $3 for a tart the size of a quarter. Their Suzu cake is absolutely delicious and moist. Their tea drinks have no sweeteners so be aware they might taste bitter. No music or anything made the place kinda eerie sitting in silence.

The strawberry cake lives rent free in my mind. So soft, cloudy and fresh. It's like Heaven. They serve that cake Thursday and Sunday! Pre order online and pick up! Easy !!

Service was amazing! I made an order through the phone for a 6-inch lemon cheesecake with seasonal fruit (not pictured oops), 2 Anko Pans, and a roll cake for my boyfriend's birthday. They let me make a custom order for the roll cake to be coffee flavored instead of chocolate. When I went to the store, the employees were very nice and the whole process went smoothly. It's also so cute inside and has nice vibes/aesthetic. The coffee cake was beautiful and tasted just how I imagined. The other desserts were great as well; what I expect from a Japanese bakery. Light and satisfying. The products from Suzu's are on the pricier side, but I think it's reasonable for what it is and where it's located (in central IL). It might not be the best bakery in the world, but it's worth it depending on what you're looking for. Overall, I was happy with my experience and will be going back!

Horrible Customer Experience! I preordered and prepaid for an order that included a 6” cheesecake well in advance for a Valentines Day event. When I arrived to pick it up I was given my order, but when I checked it the cheesecake was not included. When I informed the clerk that my order was missing my cheesecake, I was informed that they did not have the size I had purchased, and my only option was to make an additional purchase of two 4” cheesecakes which together cost more money and did not include as much cake as the one I originally purchased. If this is how you treat your customers, I will absolutely not be returning.
