Tasty Tart is hands down one of the best dessert spots in Champaign. The tarts look beautiful and taste even better — perfectly crisp crust with rich, flavorful fillings. I tried the lemon and blueberry tarts and both were incredible. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients.
The shop itself is small but super cozy, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They take time to explain each flavor, which makes it fun to choose. Their coffee and tea pair really well with the tarts too.
You can tell a lot of care and passion go into everything they make. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back and try every flavor. Definitely worth a visit!

If I could rate the tart and the coffee separately, I would give the tart 3 stars and the coffee 5. The coffee was incredibly rich, strong, and delicious. The tart is very crust heavy. The crust tastes like one that doesn't get baked, so it doesn't have that caramelization you're hoping for. The custard in the center was so light and airy it was hard to taste. I got the strawberry cheesecake one. If the crust were half as thick or perhaps baked or sweetened more, these would be 4 or 5 stars.
Best tarts and milk tea. Their Hokkaido tea was a game changer in my tea routine.

I got an iced tiramisu latte and a strawberry tart, my boyfriend got a raspberry chocolate tart and an iced oolong tea. Everything was so delicious and the service was phenomenal. This was our first time here and we will definitely be returning.
