Fantastic experience and I'll certainly be back! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and while I was a little hesitant at the price, the portion makes it well worth it. This will easily stretch to 3 meals.

The food is okay, but this place is very expensive. More than $20 for fried rice is unreasonable. Also, portions are quite normal, so I don't understand why this restaurant is overpriced compared to other Asian restaurants.

5***** all the way. My favorite was the Mango Sticky Rice. Really wish I lived nearby to come back. The only complaint is the price. I would lessen the portion size a bit and make some dishes under $20. Wouldn't be affordable to come here often. -Two of us split a meal and still spent $60 (one app, one dish, one dessert). This is truly a wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, and fantastic food.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to, I’m not from Champaign but every chance I get I come to this place when I’m in town. My favorite dish is the tom yum soup and they also have the best crab Rangoon ever. Very consistently good and always fresh.

Everytime I'm in Champaign I have to stop at this restaurant. The food and the spices are the best, definitely the spicy Thai that is very authentic. I love the staff too always very friendly and smiling every time I go there.

The food is good. The staff is very friendly. I am just surprised about the price for the food at here. I was wondering how was the food at here since the first time I came down to Champaign area

Cozy little place, if expensive by our Seattle suburbs standards (our mains were $23 as opposed to the $17 we usually pay for the same dish and quantity). The pad see ew was tasty and the Thai tea was good, the crab Rangoon was mostly celery.

Really great Thai food. The Yellow Curry was fantastic. Mild has some kick to it, I wouldn't recommend ordering a spice level beyond mild if you cannot hand a lot of spice. A little pricey, but the food quality is worth it. I'm not from this area, but I would return if I was going through the area in the future.

I was in the mood for something I love, but don't have very often and I had never been to Thara Thai even though I had driven by it many many times and had heard good things about it! So, I stopped by and ordered Shrimp pad Thai and crab ragoon. I was told there would be an additional charge for the shrimp and I said that was fine. When he gave me the total though I had big time sticker shock!! It was $44 for the shrimp pad thai and crab ragoon. I didn't feel like I could really cancel the order at that point and like I said it is not a luxury I partake of very often. Anyway, I had a crab ragoon on my way home. They put celery in it which changed the best flavor of the sweetness in the usual crab ragoon in my opinion. I thought it was nasty. When I got home I went to eat my shrimp pad thai and found it dissapointing as well. The shrimp was so tough that I couldn't eat it!! With all the negative though I feel I have to say what they did RIGHT!! He total that I said something about when he told me the portions were large and that was indeed the case! Also, he was very nice and brought my food out to me when it was ready!! So, customer service and portion size are definintely on their plus side!!!!

Quality is average & prices are sky rocketing at this restaurant.competitive prices are fair than Thara thai. For red curry & pad thai noodles I paid $49 through my card!
