Nice breakfast after a weekend pause and trip to Sheboygan Had a couple of nice big unloads in urbana and thought id have some nice pancake, wonderful food and reminds me of my beautiful country america inside and out Five stars ha ha

There's a reason this place is always pretty busy, and it isn't just hype. They have an array of generously proportioned pancake meals (including some pancake-related specialities), good strong-not-bitter coffee, breakfast favorites, fresh-squeezed OJ, friendly and competent staff, and a lightning-fast system of coffee refills and table bussing. I only crave pancakes a couple times of year, but this is my go-to spot that hits the spot.

If you love breakfast, you'll love this place! I have been here several times, and I've never been disappointed. The pancakes are simply wonderful, the omelets are big and fluffy, and the coffee will put hair on your chest. One downside is, if you come on the weekend, get a reservation or you will be waiting for hours. Throughout the week, you will be able to grab a seat about any time.

Easily the best breakfast spot in town.

Me and my boyfriend went for the first time - He ordered the biscuits and gravy - i got eggs benedict with 3 pancakes - it was so fast and efficient! Our food took 10 minutes and our server was with us as soon as we sat down!

Jennifer was lovely and very efficient- she checked on us and made sure we had everything we need. The only thing is i find it a bit on the pricey side - but it’s a chain so i’m not surprise.

Although it’s been a while since I’ve been there I have to commend The Original Pancake House for their most recent post stating they were going to be closed on a upcoming day to install a new dishwasher. In this post they suggested other area restaurants for customers to visit for breakfast. There are not many places i know that would do this! Kudos to them! That speaks volumes to me on the type of people they are. Can’t wait to visit again!

Waited forever for a table, why I can't figure out! Why do people go to this place? Prices are ridiculous!!! The food was horrible! The service basic! Probably the worst breakfast that I've had in a long time! P.S nobody wants to eat hashbrowns the have been sitting on the grill for hours!!!!😡

The food is great and quickly served. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The care for their is evident in the quality of the service and food. Also, great value for your money. A must visit when in Champaign!

I’m so frustrated with this place. The wait is always ridiculously long, and it’s gotten to the point where I’ve just given up on coming here altogether. It’s not worth the time or hassle anymore.

We were disappointed. Other than a guy going around topping off coffee cups the servers were not checking on tables as they should. Which is strange because they had plenty of servers. It took longer than usual for our food to come out. When our plates arrived the food was cold. Nothing like eating cold scrambled eggs. I asked to upgrade to banana pancakes with my entree and I received regular pancakes with banana slices on top. They weren’t real banana pancakes. As I was still eating my meal with a fork in my hand our server came and shoved our bill into me. For the premium prices you pay at this place we were extremely dissatisfied. For as popular as this restaurant is this place isn’t what it’s all hyped up to be in my opinion.
