Was immediately welcomed by a bright and cheery hostess, seated immediately, atmosphere was lively but not too loud, sat next to two gentlemen who were playing chess, vines were immaculate! Turns out, one of them was the owner, Eric, who introduced himself to me and offered me an extra free refill of coffee to go!!! I ordered the plain buttermilk pancakes which were amazing and came in a huge portion for a fair price!!! Definitely recommend!

The biscuits and gravy is some of the best i've had in town. I appreciated that when I ordered my bacon extra, extra crispy they listened-bacon was cooked perfectly!

Nice breakfast after a weekend pause and trip to Sheboygan Had a couple of nice big unloads in urbana and thought id have some nice pancake, wonderful food and reminds me of my beautiful country america inside and out Five stars ha ha

There's a reason this place is always pretty busy, and it isn't just hype. They have an array of generously proportioned pancake meals (including some pancake-related specialities), good strong-not-bitter coffee, breakfast favorites, fresh-squeezed OJ, friendly and competent staff, and a lightning-fast system of coffee refills and table bussing. I only crave pancakes a couple times of year, but this is my go-to spot that hits the spot.
