My first job in the 70s, The pizza Girl. Jack Kemp & Larry Goggins were the proprietors. If I needed to hit my Dad up for$ I would find him here. I think everyone's Dad was here lol Great
Cosmetically, this bar might not have it all, even though they have made some improvements over the years. Aside from that, the environment is very welcoming. The service is great—attentive, hospitable, and down to earth. The place seems to attract no-bull type patrons as well. I’ve had a peaceful, pleasant experience every time I’ve been there. The drink prices are the most affordable in town.
