We feel like we discovered a hidden treasure! We visited via a friends suggestion for our 10'th anniversary, and were amazed with the food and atmosphere. The Fontina Polenta with Portabella was the best I've ever had -both unique and satisfying, rich but not heavy, and (I think!) a slight ginger hint --very memorable . The wine selection was thorough with modest prices. The Lamb Kleftiko was prepared perfectly, the Country Rigatoni tomato cream and sausage was really pronounced flavorful and balanced. The Tiramisu also exemplary. We didn't realize that Maura was the co-proprietor she was so pleasant patient and informative as we finished our evening there. My only regret is that we didn't know about the restaurant earlier. Honestly I feel this is a near world class, I'd absolutely choose Pesciolino Osteria before anything that Chicago has to offer.

My wife is Italian so our Italian bar is high. Pesciolino Osteria FAR SURPASSED our bar. ----> GO HERE!!! <----- We had the gorgonzola and caesar salad and split the Gardines Santorini with a side of vodka sauce house made linguini. Only wish we had room for dessert. Should we ever come to this part of the world again, were eating here.

The food was amazing! Ordered a limoncello martini - perfect balance of flavor, not too sweet. The mushroom/polenta app and short rib rigatoni, were both truly delicious. Husband had the lamb shank and impressed the whole table - not too expensive, and fell off the bone - so very good!
The service and ambience were good, perhaps understaffed, but charming and kind personalities at the door, bar, and waitress.

First time here last night. Was sitting at the bar at Capri Plainfield last week, lady sitting next to me asked if I liked seafood, and recommended this place. Glad she did…went for my wife’s birthday last night, and couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Moira and Michelle! We loved it and will be back!!!

I had the bruschetta to start which was very delicious 🤤. For dinner I had pollo all pesto. Chicken had a ton of flavor and on the side was mushroom risotto. Both were awesome 👏. Will be returning for sure again!!!

We celebrated our daughter’s new position at work here for a nice dinner. It couldn’t have been better! Food was delicious. We had the lobster, lamb kleftico, country rigatoni and mushroom risotto. It was all delicious including desert. Citrus mascarpone cake. We highly recommend! Michele was our server and fantastic. Even the hostess was great.
I was very happy with my meal. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller and bistecca gorgonzola. Both were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Service was excellent as well. I look forward to returning.
