Located just off Charleston's Square, Jackson Avenue Coffee isn't your typical run-of-the-mill Starbucks. It's a home-like, one of a kind place that has something for everyone, including live entertainment on Saturday's.

Stopped in one morning for a coffee. The ladies were nice and created a great atmosphere and experience. The coffee was great too! Definitely a nice change from the chain coffee shops in town.

Anti-military anti-veteran establishment. Either that or they are inherently racist towards brown people. Went in there to get a drink and a muffin about had to wait in line. Every white person was helped out to completion. It's my turn I paid. Give him my order and guess what? She started helping the white customers behind me. I have to ask for my drink. she rudely said you need to wait your turn. I said didn't I already wait. My turn already paid. She just refused and ignored. To my veteran brothers, do not go to this establishment. They do not respect the fact that you gave up any semblance of normalcy In your life to serve your country and them.

This local coffee shop was a favorite hub throughout my youth - a great place to study, hang out, catch up, and play board games.Thursday open mics and board game days were always a good space to gather, so I’m glad to hear they’re back.

The atmosphere was cozy. They had card and board games you could play. It was a fun coffee place with a very friendly batista. They had various bagels, etc, but we only had coffee and hot chocolate. Please with thr beverages.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and family-friendly place.Parking: Found on street parking without trouble and paid parking lot across the street.
