This used to be a favorite of my wife and I until they had a complete waitstaff change. The original waitstaff was amazing. They were very attentive, more often than not I had a fresh glass of tea before my first was even empty. We used to stop in at least twice a week, but we probably won’t be back. The new waitstaff is terrible. I’ve had very few instances where I felt the waiter or waitress didn’t deserve a tip, but since the personnel change we haven’t received good service once. We have decided not to return and I wouldn’t recommend Juanito’s unless you like terrible service.

My adult kids love this place. I am not a fan of the cheese sauce. I would prefer just using grated cheese. The sauce makes the nacho chips and taco salad shell soggy. The staff are very accommodating.
Had the Hawaiian quesadilla and it was amazing! Reasonable prices and a menu with slightly different options than most traditional Mexican restaurants. It looked like they were active in the community as well, which I love to see in a hometown restaurant.
Really nice inside, but was very empty at lunch time. Food was great and enjoyed my time. Would recommend

Staff was very nice, perhaps not enough of them, though as it was just a little slow. We were in no hurry, so not a problem. The building is well preserved and still has the original "bones". Overall, great

It is one of the places where I have been able to appreciate a true flavor of Mexico the most. Excellent food and service.

This place has ALOT of potential, it was Amazing when it first Opened in Charleston & the last 2 times we got sick & not to mention the food was cold. The first time we got sick i thought i was coming down with a stomach bug but then i had it again And felt the exact same symptoms . Amazing place but started to lack when business picked up unfortunately, hoping things change so we can return back !

Best in town! The food is so fresh and delicious! My only reservation is the atmosphere is more like a bar. They have kids specials and meals, but it's not a family friendly atmosphere.
