WB's is a cozy restaurant popular with an older crowd. The food is tasty but could use more seasoning. The salmon with rice was average, and the mashed potatoes needed more flavor. The dinner roll was good. Service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. A comfortable hometown diner with friendly staff. The restaurant has wheelchair accessibility, though the entrance can be a bit tricky for a walker or wheelchair, with the door facing one way and the entrance going to the right side once inside. Despite this, it is manageable, and many other restaurants have the same issue. The staff works hard, especially during busy times, and they are friendly and attentive. The breakfast options, including skillets, omelets, and fresh baked muffins, are fantastic and make it a hidden jewel in downtown Charleston. Overall, WB's remains a welcoming place with good food and excellent customer service, even when short-staffed.
