I grew up directly across from the factory of them making the bread, the smell made you feel like where is it can I have a slice, lol I must say it’s the best Italian bread outside of getting bread in an Italian restaurant hands down to the best bakery on the east side is the Heights.

I had always Marconi bread in my life. From the day I was born until I moved to Tennessee. I suppose until that time I never understood how important that bread was to me. I now obsess over it. Whenever I return to Chicago Heights and it comes time to return home I fill all the empty spaces in my car with my Marconi. Whenever anyone comes to visit from my old home ask them to bring me replenishment of Marconi. I have never found a suitable replacement for this bread, not even in Italy. It truly a unique product. God bless Joe and his family for creating this bread.
