The food was nasty and customer service was alright. This is definitely not a place I will be going back to or recommending to anyone. I paid over $60 for 4 things that were tasteless and overcooked. Please do not waste your time or money here. Also the apple cinnamon pancake looks nothing like how it’s advertised online.

I will admit that ours was an odd group that came in a bit at a time. But some basic amenities were missing. Creamer for coffee. Powdered sugar on French toast. Still, the food was good. I liked the eggs Benedict. She enjoyed the breakfast combo.

I tried more than 3 times and everytime my to go order is WRONG!.
Today was the worst, I called to let them know I was missing an entire order. I was hung up on.
Then told ok, we can get that ready for you.
WHAT ??? it should already be done, I was charged for it. YOU didn't bag it .
I'm officially done with Mr.Stacks.

Placed a phone order for pick up for lunch at the Chicago Heights
Location. I was specific with my order. I asked for turkey sausage, bowl of grits, strawberry jelly and large Arnold Palmer.
There was no more than 8 to 10 people in the restaurant. Once I entered the restaurant I let the lady know I was there for pick up. She immediately says "oh I forget to place your order, but It will be 10 mins. I was on my lunch break so time was ticking. I waited for about 10 -15mins. One of the waitress did check to see if I was being helped, which I appreciated
Before I walked out the door, I asked the receptionist if she put the jelly for the toast and she said "Yes its in the bag". I received one strawberry and one grape
The food was ? good. Never had a bad experience with the food the few times I have been there.
The things that were wrong for today: She waited until I received my drink to tell me they have one size. She should have mention that when I was placing the order. She didn't put a straw in the bag. I asked for a bowl of grits and evidently they have one size, but she didn't mention that in the order placing as well.
Once I looked at my receipt on my text when I got home, it said "Patties", and I think it was pork, not turkey. I don't eat pork and beef, so I'm hoping I don't get sick. This is something that a person taking an order has to be paying close attention. You never know what allergies someone may have.
She should have repeated the order back to me over the phone and its just as much my fault that I didn't request it. I was trying to order and work at the same time.
I hope that someone reads this message and talk to the lady(she wears dreadlocks)about great customer service, because it can make or break a business. I had so many other options to choose from, but yet I decided to choose your restaurant for my option.
Please do better.

I had the most delicious red velvet French toast I’ve ever had in my life! Our waitress was wonderful however she had to keep asking the kitchen about our food, which was extremely late getting to us. Thank goodness the food was good but it was disappointing to wait 45 minutes for breakfast foods. I paid a reasonable up charge to have fried chicken and red velvet French toast.

Let me just say the young lady with the love and grayish-green contacts is UNPROFESSIONAL and does not belong in this industry, as a chef and cater myself I was completely in awe with her service today! Upon coming into stacks I purchased a Groupon towards my meal, I ordered coffee, chicken tortilla soup, and 2 egg breakfast plate, the coffee and soup came out like warm and the meal came out 50% under cooked! I took about 5 bites out of the soup and 2-3 bites out the meal because the sausage were undercooked, the eggs were hard, and the potatoes tasted as if they still had dirt on them. I waited for about 5 minutes for my pancakes and when they arrived I let her know I was finished with the plate because it was terrible and underdone; I was able to eat about 30% of the pancakes because the middles were a little underdone as well! I waited for her to get the bill adjusted due to the dissatisfaction of the meal, and I received a bill for just under $10(no biggie!)! I headed to the front to check out and handed over the Groupon(it’s $15 towards your meal no further small print), and was told because I told them I didn’t want my meal I couldn’t use the Groupon(exact words were “it would be crazy if I let you use the Groupon after what you just did back there”). I was confused because I didn’t know that was a thing, sounded made up at this point, so I asked for an explanation to which she couldn’t give one because like I expressed I didn’t come into here expecting to not enjoy my entire meal. The server then said “I’m not going back and forth with you pay the $9.96. You came in here wanting to do this.” I asked what she meant by such a statement because yes I did come in with intentions on using my Groupon but no intentions on not enjoying the Resturant I come to at least 2 times a month! I do not know the young lady’s name, but she said she was the acting manger on duty! I’ll say those are not manger qualities, and I hope the young lady she is training doesn’t pick up on those habits!
