“I absolutely love Bora Bora Smoothies! Their service is top-notch—everyone is so friendly and attentive, making sure you get exactly what you want. The fruit is incredibly fresh, and you can really taste the quality in every smoothie. I’m also a huge fan of their acai bowls; they’re delicious, packed with fresh toppings, and the portion sizes are perfect. Bora Bora Smoothies is definitely my go-to spot for a healthy treat!”

Very unprofessional, owner has no morals and is money hungry, smoothies are frozen and then defrosted a bit it taste the same as every other store. They probably buy from Jews. The attracted audience to this place is lost causes and wannabes.

When I discovered this place I was immediately addicted! On my first trip I had the Hawaiian Pitaya Bowl, with a substitution. It was delicious and refreshing. I've never had anything like it. The granola was light and crispy, and all the flavors came together very well. The one complaint I have is that the mango and kiwi were not ripe enough so they were harder than they should have been. Next time I created a custom bowl with Pitaya, strawberries, banana, and pineapple, and I loved it even more. **WARNING** If you've never had pitaya, it is very high in fiber, so I strongly suggest that you only try it if you're going, or taking it home!!?? For the third trip, I tried the Bora Berry Acai Bowl. I liked it but not as much as the Pitaya, and probably because the Acai was too sweet. I've had Acai bowls before, and I prefer it to be slightly tart, so that it complements the sweetness of the fruit, otherwise you can't really taste the distinctive flavors of each one. The one issue I have with the online menu when it comes to the description for the bowls, mainly the coconut & the matcha, it doesn't say if it's a coconut smoothie, and a matcha smoothie. Is the basement mixed with other fruits?
It wasn't all roses and gumdrops though, because the counter service could be better. First, I was never greeted when I came inside. I expected something like, "Hi. Welcome to Bora Bora. How can I help you, or Are you ready to order"? That's not what I got. On 2 separate occasions the young lady, and the young man just looked at me, and turned away. I wasn't offered a menu. I wasn't asked if I have any questions about the menu. Not even when I told the young lady it was my first time there so I'm not sure what I want. No one said "I'll be with you in a second". It was never said that if there's something I don't want, it can be substituted. Nothing. They literally looked at me until I said I was ready to order.
Overall, I enjoyed what I had, and pre-ordered to avoid awkward counter service.

I can't say enough good things about Bora Bora Smoothie in Chicago Ridge! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff here really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and appreciated.
Their smoothie selection is out of this world! Whether you’re in the mood for something fruity, creamy, or packed with greens, they’ve got it all. Each smoothie is made with the freshest ingredients, and you can really taste the quality in every sip. I’ve tried so many different flavors, and I've never been disappointed.
What truly sets Bora Bora Smoothie apart is the attention to detail and the care they put into every order. They take the time to understand what you like and make recommendations that always hit the mark. It’s clear that they’re passionate about what they do and genuinely care about their customers.
And it’s not just smoothies! They also offer amazing crepes and acai bowls that are to die for. The crepes are perfectly cooked and filled with delicious ingredients, while the acai bowls are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s like a mini tropical vacation in every bite.
If you’re looking for a place that offers not just amazing smoothies but also a warm and welcoming environment, Bora Bora Smoothie is the spot. I always leave with a smile on my face and a delicious treat in hand. Highly recommend!
