I was extremely disappointed with both the food and the service. When our carnitas arrived, there was hair in the meat. This was completely unacceptable and made the food inedible for us.
When we brought it to the staff’s attention, there was no apology and no attempt to resolve the issue. Instead, we were told, “We serve the food with hair here because that’s how we do it. There is so much pork, we don’t have time to clean it.”
Not only was the food unhygienic, but the response showed a complete lack of professionalism and concern for customers. We left without eating and will not be returning.

This place is to tight and The Patitas de Puerco weren't shaved and the presentation was poor. The carnitas were okay, but the server should've told us the pork wasn't shaved before we ordered. We wouldn't have bought it if we'd known. Won't be back.

The food is so delicious,
and not expensive. The only problem, on Sundays they finish the Chicharones too early. And the space it’s too small you have to wait to get a table.

Early Saturday morning, I was not expecting this place to be packed. I was expecting a quiet early lunch with some delicious tacos and some chicharron. But this place was buzzing with activity. Many to-go orders and every table, albeit this is a very small space, filled with hungry and very happy customers.
The chicharron, sold by the pound, was very crispy and fatty. I tried only a small order (quarter of a pound) to sample but I will definitely have to buy a larger order. Intentionally bought most pieces with just the skin for its crackle but had a nice thin layer of fat that added tons of flavor. The full on chicharron with cuts of meat and fat was tasty but the skin was a bit tough to the tooth. Still very enjoyable.
Ordered an al-pastor taco and carne asada; staples in many taco stands. These were both packed with meat and very flavorful. There’s only one thing missing for me and that was the sweetness from usual grilled pineapple that’s in traditional al-pastor tacos. But it was still juicy and the tortillas was double stacked and warm and soft.
Worth a visit to this non-descript strip mall in Chicago Ridge.

Good food
Nada recomendable.
I highly recommend this place! 5 stars*! Excellent service and delicious food. Carnitas and Chilaquiles to be exact! Next time I'm trying the menudo and chicharon! Thank you Tik Tok! 😊💖

Came here twice on the weekend and both times their was a line. Service needs to be improved. Place is also tiny no where to really sit or stand. Both times we left and didnt bother ordering after waiting over 10mins in a line that didn't move. Wont go to again.

Carnitas are tasty and soft. My first time going there and I liked the carnitas and I ordered cueritos also. I got myself a place to go for carnitas and saved my self the trip to go to west lawn to get them.

Neighborhood Mexican store specializing in homemade carnitas, tamales, menudo, chicharones, and salsa. Mostly carryout but a few tables to dine in and close enough to see the cooks make the food.

Had the Milanesa Torta Pollo. Very good. What they cook smells great. The Carnitas and Asada are wonderful.

Service - First time trying this place out, I was excited especially after placing the order over the phone. I still had to wait like 20 minutes. The cashier seemed nice at first but then she started giving me an attitude.
Food - since it was my first time I wanted to try out the carnitas. They were very greasy and a little salty. They were just ok
I really went there for the menudo especially with this cold weather.
Never again, very bland, no flavor, and very bad smell. The meat was white and very flavorless. Don't recommend this place at all, don't spend your money. Don't say I didn't warn you.

The carnitas have really good flavor, but they were extremely greasy. It looked like the guy added all the grease while putting them in the tray. They could definitely drain out some of that extra lard before serving because it made the dish a bit too oily. Other than that, the taste was great — just way too much grease.
