Figured out with my family what we wanted to order for breakfast, got but on hold, and said they won’t take my order until 10 o’clock to pick up? Doesn’t even make sense and can’t get breakfast now, I guess because their new owner? Can’t even get breakfast here anymore. Pretty

This has been a fixture in Chillicothe since passenger trains would stop there, many decades ago. Not fancy, but food and service has always been great. On weekends, for breakfast or lunch, the place is full.

Off the beaten trail next door to the deserted train station in Chillicothe (hence the name!) Worth a trip to go! Food is VERY plentiful and EXCELLENT!! Get the garlic cheese curds... excellent!!! Everything was the best. Take a day. Go find them. Prices are great too. We will be back!

Decent breakfast. The young lady who initially waited on me was very pleasant. Then another waitress came over to ask for my order. I said I needed a couple of minutes. She seemed put off by this. I had to say it twice. Ask, “are you ready to order”, versus “what can I get you?”. Fortunately the first young lady took care of me after that. The young lady asked if I wanted more coffee and asked if I was drinking regular or decaf. I said regular. I got my coffee just in time as the other lady stepped in to pour the remainder of the decaf into the pot of regular so she could brew a new pot of decaf. It was apparent as I was sitting at the counter. Really?? Best bet to get there when they first open if you want to get the coffee you asked for.

We had lunch here today and it was delicious and filling. I had the BLT with fries and macaroni salad. My husband had the tenderloin. The BLT was perfect, the fries cooked perfect crisp, and the tenderloin was amazing. The service was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Prices are really good for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend. Love that breakfast is served all day! Definitely worth the trip if you aren't in the area. We will be back!

This place is the place to go for some good food and friendly service. The owner is very friendly and willing to chat with you. In the end you leave feeling full and with a smile on your face. You feel like you just left your mom's place after a good home cooked meal.
