Sad to see this spot go from a go-to spot to trash! I would grab a slice almost daily and now it’s honestly the worst pizza spot in IL. I literally drive or go on a long walk to nonos to get a bigger quality slice or order out from Michael Anthony’s. This used to be one of my favorite spots but everything has gone down hill!! I will never order anything from here ever again ??

I Ordered a Pizza and it took 3 hours! I had to go pick it up and as I’m walking out the door the girls working there were laughing and mocking me! This place is sooo unprofessional! The girls there are horrible, rude, disgusting and no manners at all! They don’t care for your complains! They apologize while laughing at your face! When I called to ask for the manager or owners number she said she won’t give it to me I told her I would go up and talk to the owner and she even told me to “go back up there and she’ll see me there” ! Threatening me!

Stay away from ordering here, 3rd time ordering and 3rd time again wrong. Ordered all 3 times the cheese crust and the 3 times they charged me and gave me regular. They suggested I should call it in next time to make sure they read correctly my order.. Geeez the inconvenience on all 3 times. I will tell my family and friends to not order here again. Management needs to make sure everyone knows how to read. This is insane.

Worst pizza i ever had i ordered it and the box had some type of bunched up hair under the cyrcle grossed me out the cooks dont understand what cross cantamination is as they cook all the food without gloves or washing the hands ive had slices also to give them another chance and it was old ive had pizza at the laramie location and its way better maybe the staff needs to be trained at this location also have ordered burgers from here and the are ok. But the staff always gives me the wrong order if i order a double i get a single its like the staff mostly goes there to ha e fun and not to work

Ever since the tragic passing of the original owner, this chely’s has gone down tremendously in quality and service. Which is sad because a lot of us grew up eating here…. The pizza is not made the same way it was back in the day.

We placed an order for a Jumbo pizza and a Parmasian chicken sandwich. However, the order got here they had sent basically a chicken burger. I called and the girl that answered said what does a parmasian have. I had to explain to her. Her response to me was Maybe the cooks don't know what a chicken parmasian is. We'll my opinion is, if you work somewhere we're they offer a specific thing and your the cook you should know how to make it. We'll they told me they were sending the driver to bring the correct item. It was super dark from the top of the bun and the bottom of the chicken. Pictures say it all. I took that sandwich right back. It also did not smell so great.
All I have to say is that we had been ordering from there for about 20yrs. And now it has gone down in service from the cooks to the customer service. Last time the girl left my son on hold for over 30minutes. We got to the store and he was still on hold. She came from the back laughing. We literally were on hold all the way from the 55 and harlem until we got to their store. It is ridiculous.

I called to place an order and I could tell it was a young girl answering my call. I placed my order and when food gets here it's completely wrong. I called to inform them of it and the girl asked "so what do you want me to do about it?" I asked her to just be more careful because I could hear her talking to another customer taking his order while taking mine. Apparently she didn't like it because she hung up on me.

There are two locations that I order but when I order the Pizza from Laramie location I love it. My favorite place for a weekend. A day for not wanting to cook.
INSANE. I placed an order of six slices. On 11/15/23 at 3:30pm the pizza arrived at 4:40pm. All the slices arrived in a pizza box. Super cold! I called to make a complain to either get my money back or get a new order of slices. A nice girl answered the phone and I explained my complain. She passed the phone to a Mexican who couldn’t speak English. And never in my life have I got disrespected by anyone in a Service industry. The Mexican guy told me if I had an issue to simply not order from there anymore. He also told me at the pizza was old setting for a while. Also said to order something else next time. Before he hung up I asked to speak to the manager and he said don’t worry I’ll tell him and then clicked. Never ordering from here again. And I can’t believe the way the man who spoke with me. No education or a sense of costumer service.

Absolute will buy again bought a half cheese half sausage I recommend this place for people who don't like papa John's, lil Cs, pizza hut, dominos, I would rate the pizza here 8.5 really not bad I liked that taste it's way better than a lot of places I've tried btw I'm kinda picky on pizza so tbh that's my opinion I will buy from here again
