The food is always good (if you don't like crepes, there are a few non-crepe dishes, but I've never tried them) with a nice variety of options (vegetarian/seafood/chicken/beef). Decent wine list. I usually get the Nutella crepe for dessert, but be sure to ask for a steak knife to make it easier to cut through the crispy goodness. When the weather is nice, definitely try to get a seat in the backyard patio area. It is a calm, secluded area, unlike the usual Chicago sidewalk setups that leave you staring at car exhausts. The owner is often there, and it's great to get a chance to say hi. The service is always great without being 'fancy.' Just a lovely little neighborhood place with a French bistro feel, that I keep going to even though I no longer live anywhere near the neighborhood.“

We experienced fabulous service from a young lady named Katie.
She was patient as we picked various meals and drinks.
She was clearly knowledgeable and super friendly.
She came to our table several times to check on us.
I sampled my sister’s hot chocolate.
Wow! Highly recommend.
All told, we will be back again.

The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“
