“Starting our Saturday morning at Dulce Mami Cafe was an absolute delight. Located on the corner of 31st South and 49th Ave, this cozy restaurant exudes unique and chill vibes that set the perfect tone for a relaxed weekend brunch. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the inviting aromas of delicious food and freshly brewed coffee, instantly making us feel at home. The ambiance of Dulce Mami Cafe is both charming and comfortable. The decor has a warm and welcoming feel, with thoughtful touches that make it stand out from the usual breakfast spots. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Being my first time here, I decided to try the Hawaiian Panini. This sandwich was nothing short of spectacular, packed with an incredible array of flavors. The panini was made with ham, pineapple, lettuce, tomato, onion, and avocado, all brought together perfectly by the chipotle sauce. Each bite was a perfect combination of sweet and spicy, creating a mouthwatering experience that made my taste buds dance with joy. The ham and pineapple provided a classic sweet and savory duo, while the fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion added a delightful crunch and freshness. The creamy avocado complemented the other ingredients beautifully, and the chipotle sauce tied everything together with its smoky, spicy kick. It was a flavor explosion in every bite, truly taking my taste buds to flavor town. Dulce Mami Cafe exceeded my expectations. The unique vibes, delicious food, and friendly service make it a standout spot for breakfast or brunch. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu. This place has definitely earned a spot in my weekend routine!“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful crepe spot in Marquette Park, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The crepes were absolutely fantastic, and I genuinely believe that you won't find crepes this good anywhere else in the area. Not only were the crepes delicious, but the prices were also very affordable, making it a perfect option for those on a budget. It truly feels like a special food experience, with the quality of the crepes rivaling those found in high-end restaurants. One aspect that stood out to me was their exceptional customer service. They provide you with a beeper when you place your order, so you don't have to stand around waiting. It's a small detail, but it made a huge difference in my overall experience.Supporting small businesses like this one is crucial, especially when they offer such outstanding quality. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. The combination of delicious crepes, affordable prices, and top-notch customer service makes it an absolute gem in Marquette Park.“

“I love this restaurant and have been coming for years. It is cozy and quaint and just a special place. The food is always good (if you don't like crepes, there are a few non-crepe dishes, but I've never tried them) with a nice variety of options (vegetarian/seafood/chicken/beef). Decent wine list. I usually get the Nutella crepe for dessert, but be sure to ask for a steak knife to make it easier to cut through the crispy goodness. When the weather is nice, definitely try to get a seat in the backyard patio area. It is a calm, secluded area, unlike the usual Chicago sidewalk setups that leave you staring at car exhausts. The owner is often there, and it's great to get a chance to say hi. The service is always great without being 'fancy.' Just a lovely little neighborhood place with a French bistro feel, that I keep going to even though I no longer live anywhere near the neighborhood.“

“We were in town from WI today and stopped in for lunch. The salads, tomato soup, Crepes, pesto pasta, and sangria were all amazing! Super friendly staff, and very clean restaurant. We will most definitely be back!“

“Gelato is good, the floor layout is wack. For some reason you have to check in at the center of the counter and then wait in the middle of the entry-door until you get called, which is confusing AF for people who come in and think they're standing in line. (Sorry guys the 8.5x11 laminated signs don't rectify this).“

“I stopped by Dulce Mami Café for a quick client meeting and was instantly charmed. Though I didn’t get a chance to eat, I tried their signature Dulce Mami hot chocolate and it did not disappoint. Rich in flavor and beautifully presented, it came topped with colorful mini marshmallows, whipped cream, a crisp wafer cookie, and a chocolate-dipped wafer rim that added an extra touch of fun and flair.
The café itself has a super cute, aesthetic vibe with two spacious rooms, plenty of seating, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping in solo or bringing the whole crew, it’s the perfect setting for any occasion.
While I only had the hot chocolate, browsing their menu had me ready to return—crepes, paninis, soups, salads, and loaded nachos… there’s truly something for everyone. The staff was warm and welcoming, and I love that they have multiple locations, including one in Chicago and other nearby suburbs.
Located at 1 N Riverside, the neighborhood is absolutely lovely and walkable. Whether you’re looking for a cute brunch spot, a cozy breakfast hangout, or a light lunch followed by a stroll, Dulce Mami Café is a must-visit. Even the name is sweet—and it perfectly matches the vibe inside.
🌟 Highly recommend!“

“Went in for a late breakfast at Leonidas at 1964 N Halsted St, in chicago.
We experienced fabulous service from a young lady named Katie.
She was patient as we picked various meals and drinks.
She was clearly knowledgeable and super friendly.
She came to our table several times to check on us.
I sampled my sister’s hot chocolate.
Wow! Highly recommend.
All told, we will be back again.
Oh……we got some macaroons.
Also amazing.“

“The food was fresh and piping hot as the waitress brought it out to everyone in my 5-person party. I had the meatlovers skillet. The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“

“Made a detour along our 5 hour road trip, sugar milk cafe being our last stop as we headed home after a long day. So glad we chose them! Our food and drinks were delicious, the decor is beautiful within the establishment and staff were very kind/attentive. 🩷“
“A small family-run shop serving sweet and savory crèpes. Spinach ricotta with pesto was good. Makes a perfect quick bite after a playdate at the park or workout at the park indoor gym. Father travels from Indiana to serve food here, he has 2 great kids.“
