Dulce Maria Café has such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere! I loved the decor, the staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious.

First of all they had orders mixed up then the food was so bad my soup had no taste hardly any cheese they forgot to add bacon when I asked they brought me like 6 PCs of bacon bites I was like okkkk my daughters skillet was so dry and my enchiladas were salty

It used to be one of my favorite place. Last time I went with my son he was craving for crepes, idk her name so I would describe her, petite, light skin gave me an attitude, when I order crepes I told her how I wanted easy on the nutella since they put the whole bottle there, and add some banana and strawberry I told her that when I ordered. When I saw her she wasn’t doing it how I told her adding the strawberries she told me I didn’t told her that, I said “it’s ok CHARGE ME extra if you have to” I’m not arguing for that she said it was fine with an attitude and kept saying - yeah just next time told me ahead cause we do charge extra, like why argue ? Going be back and forth with me. when I clearly told her to charge me if she had to, the crepes were soggy from all the Nutella they add. I’m already paying with all the charges almost $20 for an order of crepes I’m expecting to be good. Clearly they don’t care about your health I know it says Dulce mami cafe but come on if you want to get type 2 diabetes a great place for you.

Went in just to order a drink to go. Was told by 3 people that someone else would be with me. After 10 minutes of waiting, we left. Bad first impression, no one greeted us when we walked in and lack of interest in us being helped unfortunately made us go elsewhere.

I used to come here a lot when I was pregnant with my daughter And now that she’s older, I get to enjoy one of my favorite spots in the southside with her as well! We had the fruit French toast and hot chocolate, which was so delicious with the cookies and chocolate on the rim of the cup! We also had the coconut lemonade and the dulce Mami cafe! They also were so helpful by substituting pork for chicken in my meal.

My first time in Chicago and my first stop was Dulce Mami! We were greeted with a smile by a beautiful woman named Angeles and the food was EXCELLENT. I was so happy that they were Spanish speaking staff as well. I felt right at home. 🤍 I highly recommend this spot!!!

Honestly some of the best food I've eaten in a while. More than worth it. Everything was incredible.
Red and green chilaquiles were delicious,the kids loved cheesecake,churro pancakes not to mention their home made drinks. I thought it was a Great price too. Until...I looked at the receipt after I had given a 22%cash tip...shame on me... They automatic included the tip of 15%and they also charge credit card fee. I had seen on the menu they only add gratuity on 6 people or more. I trusted them it was a family of four. So I mentioned to the register lady and she was going to ask the server to give me the cash back I said no and walked away didn't want to make a scene ... The lady should have offered a refund on my cc tip... Shame on me for not checking... And shame on them for false advertising and not mentioning that the tip was included.
