This is not a fancy place. This is, however, a great place to try for their family recipes. I grew up in North Texas so I have eaten in a few shredded cheese and lettuce joints. I didn't have high expectations; the local CPL librarian recommended it. I ordered Lobo en Chili de Arbol. I was warned the sauce was hot. It was terrific and flavorful. The beans and rice were both excellent and home made. The salsas and guac were fresh, the relish was homemade, and the tortilla chips were very freshly prepared. Considering the high quality and solid portion size, I found the prices reasonable.
