ordered a hot dog with everything thinking they would give me a Chicago dog instead I got relish onion pickle and mustard. needless to say it was awful. the beef was a little better but the bread stale.

Was visiting from out of town when I found this awesome spot. Was in and out in under 10 minutes, the staff was very helpfull. Ordered a Gyro with fries (added feta and lettuce for a small extra charge). Best part is they have RC cola on tap! Been decades since I have seen that....they also had other menu items that looked enticing, will definitely be back next time I am in Chicago!

I was only at Nicky's once. The menu looked great for this kind of place. It's a greasy spoon, I guess, with only counter seating. I had the Big Baby (double cheeseburger). It was pretty good. The prices are good, the service is good. My only complaint would be that they play the radio (bad music and commercials) and not quietly. However, that's pretty common in places like this, and I'm a curmudgeon.
Best Italian beef combos ....hands down...I will be back..I've been back...and I told them this...the sweet peppers are amazing... sorry satchels..sorry Buona ...sorry pj's..
