I have been looking close to the Berwyn/Cicero area for a healthy smoothie spot and I went here and the banana/strawberry smoothie with protein was delicious. Love the variety of menu options and the hours are great since most places close early during the week. Highly recommend.

Like the review before me, I too, felt mislead about the smoothies. I stopped by to order a mocha and thought it was a little thicker than I expected and it had a particular grainy taste. The next day i passed by and decided to give them a second try, this time I took my family. We ordered and stepped away from the counter to wait for our smoothies. I walked up to ask a question and saw the woman putting back the Herbalife box. I asked her about it and she said all the drinks contain a Herbalife product. Nothing against Herbalife, but there were no signs, no ads of their products anywhere. To be honest, if I saw any sign of Herbalife, I probably would have stayed away completely. I believe the owners should disclose that important detail. Sure, attract a crowd, but one that is ok with consuming those products.

I was searching for a place that offered healthy options and I found Rise N’ Shine! They have many drink and food options. The girls there were very helpful and gave me a lot of information and options! I will be going back!

Delicious, fast, and healthy food, snacks, and shakes. Location is right on the corner and easily accessible; it's open most of the day (from early morning to late afternoon) every day. Quick grab-n-go type of place.

I came all the way from Markham just to check this place out. I had the Pineapple Cake smoothie, it was excellent! It was at an affordable price, six dollars. They have teas with boosters also. They use Herbal Life as their base protein. The two ladies gave great service. I will be back for that tea, lol.

Buyer Beware: THIS IS HERBALIFE Now then, now that it's out there let's start. If you are an outsider to the Herbalife world, (like myself) you wouldn't even know looking at this place. That's my first issue, as you can see, a yelper is letting you know, not the actual business! That right there, is wrong. My family and I felt very mislead. Now, I'm not trying to be rude. But hopefully after my review, the company makes some changes. Now, this is not to say Herbalife products don't work or aren't helpful. That I wouldn't know as I've never bought into it (well except today I supposed). That's my second issue with this place. There is no signage in store or on their Instagram page that this is Herbalife based. This is also wrong. A: if you are a proud business owner, why not tell everyone what the main foundation of your company is? B: it is dangerous not to disclose what is going into your drinks i.e. nuts, soy, dairy etc. My family was beyond stoked that we were getting a smoothie joint near the area, and walking distance too! But unfortunately this is not a smoothie bar, where you can pick and choose ingredients like fruits, milks or powders. This is worrisome because no one asked if we had any allergens. What if someone walks in who does and they think they are just getting a regular blueberry smoothie with regular milk? Very very dangerous. There are no nutritional labels near the menu or on the actual cups. This should also be disclosed. Now if you are an avid athlete or you'd just like to kick start your life into a healthier direction, this is great! But again, what are we really drinking? We wouldn't know. I'm giving this place 1 star, not because people where rude or the place was dirty. One star because being mislead is wrong and dangerous. It's wrong to pose as a regular smoothie caffe and charge high prices because there's protein inside. Please disclose the actual company at its roots, please create nutritional labels and please provide allergens. My husband and I spent $16 on two smoothies! We didn't taste (due to Covid) until we were outside. It honestly just felt like we were taken advantage of. It seems like the owner doesn't want to disclose its Herbalife because maybe they will lose out on business. Hopefully my review spares others who plain and simple just don't want these products for whatever reason. It's our right, and this place feels forceful upon inspection.
